" What was that about?"

Before he could explain their argument, the last person he wanted to see walked into his hospital room. James turned when he saw the look of anger on his face.

" Hello boys?"

"Au-"

" Get out!"

Tor growled startling both of them. James stood up to leave but he stopped him.

" Not you, her!"

" I know cuz but just talk to her and hear her out because she won't stop bothering you till you do."

" Young man you will not talk about me like that ! He is my son, how can you say I'm bothering him-"

" Shutup mother!That's the reason I don't want to talk to you, you have no right to talk to him like that while his pleading your case."

James said his goodbyes with the promise to return later. She pulled a chair and sat down while he glared at her. He was only doing this because he wanted it to be the last time they saw and talked to each other.

" How can you be understanding towards Akilah but not your own mother?"

She had come earlier to talk and see him but had heard his argument with Amara. Then left a few minutes after eavesdropping on them.

" You are my mother but you tried to have the mother of my children and my children killed, for what reason?."

" I was fooled son-"

"No you chose to be fooled. You blindly took Akilah's side and supported her because of your past with dad. I am not my father. Actually your precious Akilah is more like dad in her ways than I ever was-"

" Son, I didn't know, she lied to me-"

" I tried to tell you but you would not listen because you had it in your head that I was wrong and she was right. You took her every word and refused to even meet the children you claimed weren't mine. Now you want to come and apologise-"

" Tor, son please just give me a chance. I was wrong and I know that now. Like you I was duped by Akilah. She used and abused both-"

" I was not deceived by anyone but you. You know I stayed and dedicated my life to this woman because of you. My father cheated on you then left you for another woman after years of you being forgiving to his actions and his empty promises. You complained about him all my life and that stayed with me to the point that I was scared that I would become like my father. That you would be dissapointed in me and while trying not to become my father I became you. To the point where when I found a real woman who truly loved me and gave me everything I have ever wanted in life, I could not see that. I still tried to appease you and Akilah while hurting Amara._ Shit I'm still doing that."

He said realising how wrong he was in his argument earlier Amara.

" Tor I have multiple brain lesions and the doctor said my life expectancy is five years or less. I-"

She blurted out interrupting his thoughts.

" You expect me to believe you?!"

" Son, I swear."

" Look I really don't care because it's the karma you get for trying to kill your own grandchildren."
