Amara was startled from her nap by the ringing of her cellphone. The caller identification said it was Zozo, she had forgotten to tell her about the twins falling ill.

" I completely forgot about that and I'm really sorry. Schedule a meeting for two days from today. The doctor said that they might be discharged by tomorrow..."

" You want me incharge for two days? Wow okay. I promise won't dissapoint and I will try come check on you guys when I knock off."

She replied on the other end and Amara thanked her before hanging up. Her phone rang again and it was Eze. They were supposed to have dinner last night and she completely forgot. She explained to him her situation and he understood, also promising to come check up on them later.

" Morning, I just came to check on their vitals and ask if you need assistance bathing them?"

" Thanks but I'll manage."

When the nurse was done, she took out her toilet bag which Tor had fetched the night before and began bathing her twins as well as she could as they lay in the hospital beds. She was happy to see them voluntarily open and close their eyes. They looked tired and were not their usually bubbly selves but they still looked better than the day before.

" I'm really sorry I failed you once again guys but I promise that it won't happen again. I'll do everything in my power to keep you guys safe from harm. Even if it means that you might never-"

" Morning miss Amara, how are my favorite niece and nephew doing?"

The doctor who also happened to be Tor's cousin walked into the room with their file. The night before he was not on duty and he did not get to see them.

" They're doing much better from my observation."

" Yeah and by today's blood gas results, they're improving. Where's Tor?"

" He left last night with his wife."

David scoffed.

" His only children are laying in hospital beds sick and he would rather go home to that- that_ woman!"

Amara wondered why the cousin's were not so fond of Akilah. James had the same energy when she met him after the first incident. At first she thought that maybe Akilah and James had bad blood but David's reaction had her thinking otherwise.

" Why do you say his only children when Akon is there?"

" I meant his only twins. Well I'm going to check on my next patient. You still have my number right? Call me if you need anything."

" Don't the only thing he can help you with is prescribed drugs. Call me if you need anything that doesn't require a prescription."

" Shutup James ...."

Amara watched on as the brothers went back and forth jokingly insulting each other before embracing. She loved their relationship and hoped that her children would be this close even when they are older. As she did not have that with her sister. They were even like this with Tor.

" Hey beautiful, sorry about that."

" It's no problem, I love your relationship. It's beautiful."

" Well you should see us with Tor around, I doubt you'd feel the same. Anyway how are my niece and nephews doing."

" They're doing well."

She found it sweet that he was enquiring about her unborn too.
