When Ruby saw Miranda, her eyes sparkled. She turned to Donna and her daughter nodded to her parents. Miranda had jitters, she suspected they were up to something. When Fernando began to play, moments later Ruby started the song.

Schoolbag in hand
She leaves home in the early morning
Waving goodbye with an absent-minded smile

As she sang, her eyes scanned the crowd, she stopped on Miranda for a few seconds then her eyes diverted to Donna. The woman reached her mother and joined hands together with her.

I watch her go with a surge of that well-known sadness
And I have to sit down for a while
The feeling that I'm losing her forever
And without really entering her world
I'm glad whenever I can share her laughter
That funny little girl

At the next verse, Donna followed her mother singing along

I try to capture every minute

Before singing the next verse, they both turn to the crowd but mostly looking at the part of the crowd where Miranda was at. Miranda had watering eyes that no one but her mother and sister could see. She kept thinking how she could've have her sister and mother with her long ago. They could've been in each other's lives but her pride didn't let her see clearly.

Sleep in our eyes, her and me at the breakfast table
Barely awake, I let precious time go by
Then when she's gone there's that odd melancholy feeling
And a sense of guilt I can't deny
What happened to the wonderful adventures
The places I had planned for us to go

Donna sang as she slowly approached her sister which she was frozen on the spot thinking only about the two women singing. Donna reached her and grabbed her hands, they both squeezed each other's hands in tears.

Ruby was next on approaching Miranda and both of them sang to the one they were dearly missing. Miranda was now reflecting on how foolish she has been acting by rejecting her family. She wasn't sure if she was ready to go back to her old ways. Although, of one thing she was certain, she would gladly love to be part of the Sheridan clan again.

With the last note, the three women joined heads and smiled at each other. They were all crying, the crowd went crazy with the round of applause. Both the Sheridan women's family and Miranda's employees ended up shocked. Sophie was excitedly clapping and Fernando had a wide smile. He ended up hugging them and Miranda received him with opened arms.
