Chapter 20 - Sleepover

THIRD PERSON

"For goodness sake, we're going on stage in like ten minutes!" Soobin's shout echoes throughout TXT's waiting room and Kai only stands there with his hand still on the door knob, afraid that he'll get yelled at if he disobeys the leader.

"Just go visit them after we perform, that'll be way easier." Taehyun suggested, keeping that same sly smirk on his face as he knows what Kai wanted to do. Yeonjun only observes his teammates over his phone screen, slightly smiling. "Fine, but.." they all wait for Kai to finish.

When he didn't, "Yes, sure. You can hangout with her tomorrow." Soobin said, causing their ears to perk. "That's not fair!" Beomgyu exclaimed with a fist in the air, "Let's just.. Ask them when their free and schedule a hangout, then." Yeonjun said, struggling to maintain a straight face as he, himself couldn't wait.

"Hey, girls!"

Not one of them heard except for Chaeryeong, her head slowly turns to them and a smile crept on her face when they made eye contact. "We just wanted to know when you girls are free, we want to hangout more." Taehyun said, halting in front of her and resting his arm on her shoulders.

As the other boys came to a stop, Lia faces them with a confused look. "Sorry, what was that? I was drooling over yummy food on Instagram.." she confessed, a cheeky smile on her face as she does. "When are you guys free?" Soobin repeated.

"Oh, I think.. We don't have anything scheduled for tomorrow and the following day."

Yeji hums after Lia finishes, "Yup, we can hangout then." she said, getting the other two's attention. As soon as Ryujin's eyes left her phone screen, she smirks towards Beomgyu's direction. "Playing solitaire again?" Beomgyu asked, to which she just replies with a smug smile.

"You have to stop." he said, chuckling. Ryujin playfully sticks her tongue out at him, "It's not like it could kill me." she responded. "Yeah, but your eyes look like they could pop out at any moment."

"Haha, funny." she said, in a sarcastic tone.

"Anyway, how about a sleepover?" Yuna suggested, grinning as she places her phone on the chair beside her. Yeonjun opens his mouth to disagree, but Kai answered first. "Call!" he exclaimed, causing the others to look at him curiously.

The arm that he had raised slowly fell as embarrassment takes over him. "Ah.. Haha.." he anxiously laughed, scratching the back of his head. Soobin glances at him and rolls his eyes, "Yeah, sure. Okay, sleepover it is." he muttered, hoping it would make the younger smile.

Kai's eyebrows lifts up drastically, "Really?!" he exclaimed, suddenly clinging onto the leader's arm like a baby monkey would on its mother. Soobin smiles in response and excuses himself to go make a call, most likely to call their manager to tell him about their plans tomorrow.

"Yes!" both of the youngest in each group exclaimed.

"Beom, I swear if you-"

"Sleep with one eye open, idiot!"

"Put the pan away, please."

Okay, maybe a sleepover was a bad idea.. But, at least these teenagers found it fun to hit each other with metal utensils.

"Guys, why don't we play a game? Like, let's all chill, you know?" Lia asked, since she was the only one not involved in the mess in front of her, fortunately. Her question seems to have caught their attention because they all have their heads turned to her now, "What game?" Yeonjun questioned.
