"No. Absolutely not."
"You don't have a choice, Miss Lynn."

Y/N was currently in Satoshi's office with her arms crossed with a mean glare on her face. The chief was in his chair as he had his hands folded in front of his mouth, using his every amount of self-restraint to not laugh.

"You think this is funny, old man?" Y/N seethed through her teeth. Satoshi let out a chuckle as he stood up from his seat.
"We were advised that this effect will last for a few days. The public and other heroes have been informed that Hawks will be out of work for those days. You're the only one who can take care of him. Mizuki will also be happy to help."

Y/N's eyebrows twitched from anger as she turned around and stomped out of the room.
"I better get paid for this." she spat out as she slammed the door behind her. The people who worked at the station hid in fear as Y/N walked by with a deadly aura. She pushed the door open to go outside of the station and picked up a rock from the ground. She glared at the sky as she cursed the gods.

"WE'RE YOU LISTENING TO ME? BECAUSE YOU HEARD THE FUCK WRONG, YOU STUPID BITCH." she yelled as she threw the rock into the sky with her quirk, it shot through the air with unsettling force and speed.

The people around her walked a little faster as they got startled, Y/N growled at them as she busted back into the station. Her fist were clenched as she walked to an extra room towards the back of the station. She took a deep breath as she glared down the door in front of her. She placed her hand on the doorknob and turned it. She took heavy steps as she walked in. She peeked her head around the door as she squinted.

A child version of Hawks was sat on the floor as he played with some colors. He was wearing a light blue shirt that his small wings poked through and some black shorts. Y/N studied his face. He didn't have his usual happy look. It was mostly void of emotion as his eyes studied the red crayon in his hand. She walked in and closed the door behind her. She froze in her steps as Hawks turned his head and looked at her with his doe eyes. Her breath hitched as she slightly panicked, but he just looked away as he put his wing in front of him with a slight frown on his face. She raised an eyebrow as she walked in front of him. He seemed to cower away from her as his eyes got glassy. She started to panic again, thinking she was scary to him. She gulped as she knelt in front of his, doubts starting to swirl in her mind.

"Hey, Kid. How are you feeling?" she asked hesitantly as she picked up a stray pencil that was on the floor. Hawks glanced at her through his wings as he saw her playing with the pencil in her hands. He swallowed hard as he looked away from her. Y/N sighed as she tried to think of a way to get him to talk. It was hard to believe this was the same Hawks that she had known to be so energetic and talkative. Her forehead creased as she grew frustrated while Hawks scribbled on a paper. An idea came to mind as she grabbed one of the loose papers on the floor.

"You like to draw? I used to draw when I was a kid too." she told him as she sketched Hawks' grown up version with his wings spread wide in his hero attire. Her tongue was poking out of her mouth as she struggled to fix his messy hair, Hawks peeked through his wing to see her draw. His eyes slightly sparkled as he watched her finish up the wings. After a few minutes she sighed out as she admired her rushed sketch. She glanced to see she had caught Hawks' attention as he was admiring the drawing through his wings. She chuckled as she held it out to him.

"You want to color it? He looks cool, right?"
Hawks nodded as he stuck out his hand and grabbed the paper. He held it in front of him as his eyes looked over every feature and detail on the drawing. He set it down in front of him as he started to color the wings red. He still kept his wings up, but they had lowered the slightest bit as he continued to color. Y/N rested her chin on her hand as she looked at him. She waited for him to finish coloring while she twirled the pencil in her hands. Once he was done coloring, Hawks picked it up to admire his work. He gave a side glance to Y/N, but looked away quickly once he saw she was looking back at him.
