"Its quite sad
How people make promises
About the future
Because they have no idea
What happens in the future

People say things like
I will always love you
I will always be here for you
Things will get better

'I Promise'

But
It's five years later
And you don't love me
You aren't here for me
And
Things haven't gotten any better"

"Did you miss me?"

Y/N looked at him in fear. Her ears were filled with the talking and laughing of all the people around her. All these people are in danger. Their lives are no longer safe.

What is she supposed to do?
The old her wouldn't care about the people around her. She would fight, not giving second thoughts on any lives that may be lost in the process.
But it's different now.

Mizuki, Hawks, Koji, Kumi, and everyone else are here. They're in danger. They could be killed.

That scared her.
How much she cared for them scared her.
She knew they were all her weakness.
They all held her back at this moment.

Frustration was shown on her face.
How was she going to do this?

"I thought you would be a little more happy to see me, Babe." Hoka joked with a dry laugh. He had his hands in his pockets as he walked to her.
"Don't get any closer." Y/N seethed, she slipped off the duffel bag from her shoulder and held it in her hands.
Hoka ignored her as he walked closer, a sly smirk on his face.
"Or what? You have to be careful now. You don't want any of these people getting hurt, right?"

Y/N's eyes darted around her, trying to found any way to get all of these people out of here as quick as possible.
"I'll tell you one thing."
Y/N turned to see that Hoka was a few feet in front of her, his hands out of his pockets.
"You won't be able to save everyone."

Y/N's brows furrowed, but she then saw a police officer walking past. She took quick steps to him, but in a flash she saw Hoka streak past her, his hand touching the officers exposed arm.
He's gotten a lot faster since the last time she saw him, completely catching Y/N off guard.
The officer suddenly stood still, his eyes blank.

"Shit." Y/N cursed under her breath. In a blink if an eye, Y/N took out one of her black katana from the duffel bag. She unsheathed it as she lunged towards Hoka. He was taken by slight surprise, she had never used any type of weapons before. He barely dodged her blade, people just now noticing that something wasn't right. Instead of evacuating, all the civilians crowed them in a huge circle, taking pictures and videos. Y/N grew frustrated as she yelled at them to get away, but they didn't seem to care. Some families fled the scene, scared look on their faces, but many people still remained.

"7 people."

Y/N glared at Hoka and his words.

"They all have families, friends, and are genuinely good people."

Y/N's eyes darted around and looked through the crowds of people.
"You bastard." she seethed at him, her hand clutched tightly on her sword.

"And I'll give you 30 minutes, since I'm feeling generous." he smiled, putting hands back in his pockets.

Y/N had two options. One would be almost impossible while the other costed lives. She gritted her teeth as she used her quirk and lunged at him again, the ground breaking from her power. Before she reached him, he shot up into the air laughing. She looked up to see he was sitting one a beam, her eyes caught the shine of a thin string. Without even looking, Y/N took a knife from inside her boot and used her quirk to throw it.
