"You had told me you could handle this mission."
Hoka swallowed as he bit his tongue. He was in Aku's office, standing in front of the desk. Hoka had barely managed to escape, his hip really slowed him down.
"I didn't think she would lace her knives in sedatives. She would always just use brute force and kill anything that was a problem." he tried to explain. Aku was starting a the ceiling as he leaned back in his chair, feet propped up in the table.
"I see. So she's changing isn't she? Starting to think about the lives of those around her, choosing her actions with care, and really starting to piss me off." he growled as he stood up from his seat.
"Maybe we should slow down a bit. We really need to think out or next move." Hoka carefully spoke. Aku hummed as he turned to Hoka."And what do you think our next move should be, Hoka?" he asked, an amused expression on his face.
"Well if you want her to hate you, she needs to know who you are first. It's risky, but I think you should do a direct attack. If you really want to make an impact, you can kill one of her 'friends'. I think the easiest would be Mizuki, she's only 16 and can't use her quirk that well."
Aku hummed as he traced the design on his mask. Excitement filled his cold heart at the thought of being able to do a mission. A grin split his face as he looked at Hoka with half lidded eyes.
"Mizuki was it? Yes that sounds good. Work out the details and give me a report as soon as your finished."
Hoka nodded his head and left the room. His lonely steps echoed in the halls as his eyes looked at his feet. One thought echoed in his mind
Why does this feel so wrong?

Music played softly in the background as Mizuki laid on the floor on her stomach. Her head rested on her hand as she scowled at the papers of homework in front of her. It's been a day since Y/N was released from the hospital and Hawks still hasn't gone back to normal. She huffed as she stood up, leaving the papers for later in the day. The red head hummed a melody as she wandered into Y/N's room and peeked her head in.
"That's quite the color you've pick out." she heard Y/N chuckle. Mizuki watched with a smile as Hawks was doing Y/N's makeup, smearing a purple lipstick somewhat on her lips. Pink eyeshadow was all over her eyelids and a little on her brows. As well as bright red blush with glitter painted her cheeks.
"Hey Y/N." Mizuki greeted as she walked into the room, sitting down next to her on the floor.
"Hey Red, didya finish your homework?" Y/N asked as she side eyed the teen next to her.
"I just need a few more problems, I can finish before I go to bed." Mizuki laughed nervously as she looked away. Y/N hummed and took out her phone, passing the time while Hawks had his fun.
"How much longer do you think he'll be like this?" the teen wondered as she leaned on Y/N.
"He should turn back any day now. To be honest, I'm getting used to have a kid Hawks around." she mumbled as she messed with his hair as he sat in her lap inspecting a makeup brush. Mizuki laughed as she took a picture of them, earning a glare from Y/N."Well I'm sure you'll have a kid Hawks to take care of in the future." she teased as she wiggled her brows at the women.
"Get out." she growled as she covered Hawks' ears, him looking confusingly up at Y/N. Mizuki laughed as she got up, her hand up in surrender as she walked out of the room.Mizuki sighed s she walked into the kitchen, she had been wanting to go out, but after the Mall Incident they've been ordered to stay in for a while. She rummaged through the cabinets to see if there was anything to make. Her eyes landed on strawberry cake mix, deciding that she'll be making cake now.
