i long for your stare
perhaps even a never ending glare
a fault in the snare
that could make you so aware
a fragile cry
could bring rain from the sky
onto the lips of a child nearby
as he watches with pry
and all in that time
you'd still look alive
waiting for the moment i crack
wishing it would come sooner
and your fist would close around my neck
stoping me from breathing
the thing you hate the most about me
and you'd count the seconds in your head
waiting for the perfect release
never did you think i craved your bruises
or your screaming at 2am
or the way you just look at me
just wishing i we're dead
maybe i want you to hate me
they said
hate was strong stronger than love
perhaps they're right
maybe you were too big to only love
maybe you needed to fill every edge of yourself with pure hatred
only then would you be full
was love never enough for you?
and why is it that i don't care
kill me with your never ending glare
