I stepped outside my dorm with Enzo, and he shut the door slow as ever, making sure not to wake Onyx.

Once the coast was clear and the door was fully shut, his hand grasped my waist and we disapparated to Hogsmaede.

I immediately shivered as the cold hit me due to the sun not being out yet.

Lorenzo noticed and pulled out his duffle bag, reaching in and fiddling around inside for a few seconds before pulling out a hoodie. He held it out to me.

"Thank you," I said gratefully.

"Of course," He smirked.

I pulled it over my head - it was a bit large, considering the boy was almost a foot taller than me, but I didn't care. It smelled like him.

"So, what are we going to do until the shops open?" I asked.

"I may have an idea," He said, reaching his hand out for me to take it.

I grabbed it, and he pulled me towards a little path in the woods.

I followed reluctantly.

We trudged through the woods. Most of the time when we went to Hogsmaede it was snowing and freezing cold, so a walk in the woods was a whole new experience since it was the fall.

The dead leaves cracked like bones beneath the soles of my feet; the ones alive were wearing out, their colors changing from green to vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow. The snow that I usually saw here in the winter was the leaves; they drifted and swirled down to the floor gently and peacefully.

A calm breeze brushed my shoulder and I shivered.

The crickets chirped, the squirrels chased one another, playing in their own little world. We saw a few deer ahead of us, who paused when they acknowledged the two of us, and stared carefully.

"Watch this," Lorenzo whispered.

He walked cautiously off the trail and grabbed a handful of shrubs, keeping eye contact with the deer.

He moved slowly and carefully as he held out the greens in his hand. He sunk to the floor and rested the back of his hand on the soil.

One deer stood there hesitantly, then started gradually prancing towards Lorenzo's hand on the floor.

It stared at Lorenzo with a sense of trust, and slowly but surely lowered it's head into the palm of Lorenzo's hand.

It nipped and licked the shrubs on Lorenzo's skin, and he turned to looked back at me and beam.

I stared with my mouth open. Once the deer finished eating and turned around to join its family again, Lorenzo stood up and walked over to a patch of grass to wipe the saliva off of his hand.

He turned and came towards me, brushing his hands together.

"How the fuck did you do that? I've never seen a person get a deer to come up to them like that before."
