I left the room quickly as soon as I could. It was the day after Christmas, and I wasn't ready to have another fight with Draco. I'd just try my best to ignore him.

He's lonely, Narcissa had said. You don't have to be his friend, just be there for him.

That's exactly what I would do. If he wanted to become a better person, he would have to do it himself. I'd always be there for him, but if he wasn't trying, I wouldn't either.

Frankly, I was excited to go back to Hogwarts. I planned on smoking some weed tonight, because we hadn't done that in a while, and we deserved it. We needed to have some fun before the stress that schoolwork brought us returned.

I grabbed my coat I had left on my suitcase by the bottom of the staircase, and pulled it on, buttoning it quickly and adjusting to the weight. I enjoyed the few last seconds of warmth, before scurrying towards the large door, sucking in a breath, and pulling it open. As soon as I did, a harsh and frigid wind struck against my warm body like lightning.

My teeth naturally started to chatter as I tugged my coat to hug my body tighter, as if that would help. Outside, the three idiots were having another snowball fight. I chuckled to myself as Blaise got pounded in the gut by Lorenzo's snowball, causing him to stumble backwards and clutch his stomach as if he was about to vomit.

I decided to sneak up behind Onyx, whose back was facing me. Lorenzo noticed me and was about to say something before I brought my finger to my lips, signaling for him to keep quiet. Blaise was too busy shriveling up from Lorenzo's gigantic snowball to notice my plan.

I bent down slowly, carefully attempting to stay quiet as Onyx laughed at Blaise's pain. I grabbed a handful of loose snow and started to walk towards her. Without warning, I wrapped my arm around her stomach, pulling her closer to me, and flung the snow into her face.

She shrieked, her hand immediately slapping her face like a magnet. She wiped the snow off quickly, panting heavily, before slowly turning around like a villain does in a movie.

"You really woke up and chose violence," She said devilishly.

I flashed a small grin, which quickly faded as she bent down and rapidly formed a large snowball. I started to run, but she was too quick to escape. After I turned around, she grabbed my arm and ripped me towards her as she crushed the snowball in my face.

My mouth fell open at the sudden sting of the cold snow, but I soon found myself laughing. Her and Blaise were extremely alike, that's what made them perfect for each other.

"Dumb bitch. Really thought you'd get away with that," she smirked at me.

I raised the corner of my lip upwards and rolled my eyes. I backed up from her, because I wouldn't be surprised if she did it again. I wiped the small flakes of snow off my coat before Lorenzo shouted something.

"Why don't we do-. Like, a chicken fight?"

Blaise grinned. "Yes. What are we doing for teams? I say we do a couples fight."

Lorenzo nodded his head and started walking towards me.

"No. First, we're doing girls versus boys," Onyx announced, causing Lorenzo to shrug his shoulders and turn around.

Blaise met eye contact with Lorenzo and beamed devilishly. "Fine with me."

Onyx smirked and ran towards me, although it took a bit of time since the snow kept swallowing the soles of her feet. Once she was in front of me, she turned around and bent downwards, holding her hands up so I could grab onto them. I straddled her neck and tightly grabbed onto her hands, and then she let out a quiet grunt as she stood up.
