~Avalon~Next Day~

I wake up with nausea and the urge to throw up again. I exit the bathroom to find the ouse empty. Except for Sira, who looks at me curiously.

"Yeah?" I ask politely. She shrugs and goes back to washing dishes. I sit down on a chair and rub my head, hating the headache I am having. Sira looks up at me and sighs.

"Pardon me, Ma'am," she says with a small curtsy, looking at me with concern, "but I have noticed you have been throwing up a lot lately and seem to be nauseous a lot as well. Do you think, maybe, that you are pregnant?" my heart skips a beat as I consider the idea.

"W-What if I just have the flu?" I ask nervously. Sira shrugs.

"Could be, but normally if you have the flu, you would be resting in bed, no energy at all," she says softly, "what is happening to you is the symptoms for pregnancy," I nod and smile to myself.

"Thank you," I say with a smile before leaving for Rinton.

I slide off of Stryder's back and tie the reigns to a hitching post before walking around town. I was going to enter the market when someone stops me. I turn to see Sram smiling down at me.

"Hey beautiful," he says, going to caress my cheek, but I slap his hand away, "I like my women fiesty,"  I glare at him and back away.

"I am NOT your woman," I say angrily. Anger flashes in his eyes as he walks closer to me.

"Not now, but soon," he says in a low voice, "you will fall for me and realize I am better than that demon you love," My eyes widen as my anger rises and I snap.

"I will NEVER love you! And that demon I love? We are engaged and are going to get married," I say firmly, ignoring the looks of rage in his eyes as I say this, "I love him and our child," I wrap my arms around his stomach, getting the urge to protect the unborn child inside me. Sram doesn't move to hurt me, instead he marches into the market place, which is filled with people. He grabs a tall box and stands up on it.

"Ladies and gentlemen! I have an announcement!" he says loudly, voice full of authority, "It is time we get rid of Kane, also known as the Lone One! We can't sleep easily knowing he could kill any of us in our sleep!" everyone looks up at him and start cheering. My eyes widen as I push through the crowd towards Sram, who doesn't look at me.

"I say we kill the demon!" he yells and a bunch of people cheer, "it's time to follow me! We will not come home until he is dead!" people raise their fists and cheer in anger, "grab your weapons and torches and follow me to the palace and we will bring back his head!"

"No!" I scream, "Sram, dont!" he looks at me and walks up to me. He grabs my upper arm and drags me towards a building and tosses me in, I land on my back and stand up just as he slams the door and locks it. I slam my fists onto the wooden door, tears running down my face. I race towards the window to see all the men from the village, which is a lot, leaving in the direction of the palace.

"No!" I yell weakly, sliding down the wall, hugging my stomach, "Kane," I whisper as I close my eyes. Ten minutes later, I open my eyes and stand up. I run through the house, searching for an exit. Nothing. Tears continue to stream down my cheeks as I think of a way out. I grab pans and heavy obstacles and throw them at a large window, which shatters. I smash any pointy remains to protect my stomach before I climb out.

I stand up and run through the crowd of women and children to reach Stryder. I do and hurriedly untie his reigns and climb onto his saddle and race out of Rinton.

The sky darkens as a storm brews. Stryder whinnies in protest but continues riding towards the palace. Sprinkles start hitting my face, but it doesn't slow me. I urge Stryder on as I see the palace in the distance.
