Bad Timing - Jiara (JJ Maybank & Kiara Carrera)

Chapter 12

"uhm, i wanna change" kie says hinting that JJ should leave the room right about now. He looks up from the screen to stare at her for a split second.

"Sure. Go ahead" the boy says looking back at his phone.

"JJ!" she says playfully as he secretly smirks.

"just kidding. I'll be in the kitchen" JJ steps out of 'their bedroom' closing the door behind him.

As soon as he leaves the room, Kie steps in to bathroom admiring the the large space. The bathtub was gorgeous. It was this white tub detached from the wall, placed right in the middle of the huge place, and Kie couldn't believe this was called 'camp', it's literally a hotel. After looking around, she lets her hair down as she views herself in the mirror. Kie started to take her makeup of as she got lost in her thoughts.

Maybe he wasn't himself when he said he was only using her for his pleasure. Why else was he jealous today? Why the hell did she have to share a room with him right now?

Her thoughts were interrupted by her phone ringing, but kie chose not to reply. Yet the called was persistent so she reluctantly grabs her phone to answer.

"Kiara Carrera! How dare you not answer my calls." sarah says in a scolding voice. 

"You are interrupting my alone time." Kie replies tediously.

"well you took long to reply and you never do that considering you're always on your phone" Sarah explains as she and John B put on a movie.

"that's not true!" kie yells defensively

"wait it kind of is...  I can't have got the beach and save sea turtles so I have nothing better to do" Kie suddenly realizes why her screen time has been up to eigh hours this week.

"are you admitting that this trip was a good idea cause that's all I can hear right now" Sarah says with enthusiasm.

"well I mean I shouldn't have left my parents for a week with no explanation" Kie sighs.

"come on! Stop nagging! Think about today and only today"
"Yeah you're right about that"
"Come on i am right about everything! Anyways. Are you going to come over tonight?" sarah asks the girl with a warm tone.

"I hope you're not planning on doing anything with JJ" Sarah's tone changes as she recalls kie sharing a room with JJ. Let's just say that she wasn't very fond of Kie hanging out with JJ, especially after breaking her heart.

"okay, A; that guy is your friend, our friend, no matter how badly he messes up, B; I get to make my own decisions, I didn't run away from my parents so that you could lecture me here" Kie elaborates sarcastically.

"kiara! Are you crazy! Please tell me you don't like him... I thought you learned your lesson from Chase. Can't you tell what 'red flags' in a relationship are?" Sarah says as JB shoots her a certain look. John B knew what Kie had to go through with her parents, he was the only one who knew why she was fighting with them.
And While Sarah was hating JJ for breaking Kie's heart, Jb was sympathizing with her..

"first of we're not in a relationship... second, I don't like him... I am just attracted to him...physically" kiara says mumbling the last part.

"kiara!" Sarah shouts as she takes Kie off speaker.
"I heard that kiara!" John B yells as Kie making a cringed face.

"oh come on! you can't put two people who have been flirting with each other for the past two months in the same room together and not expect them to get together!" Kiara tries to explain, but no one understood.
