Chapter 6: Unleash the Explosion Loli!

Ayumu's POV

Ayumu, having just moved in to the Tokisaki Inn and meeting Kurumi Tokisaki, the mysterious proprietor of the inn, and Yunyun, the klutzy Crimson Demon, walks out of his new home after settling in. Seeing that it's getting later in the day, he goes straight to the Guild to get a table for dinner. The Guild usually fills up quickly, and with people not going on as many quests, there's probably going to be even more there.

Later at Dinner

Ayumu's joined by Aqua, as Megumin and Darkness haven't arrived yet. Megumin earlier said that she'd see him tomorrow, but must have completely forgotten about having dinner together like they usually do.

Ayumu: "So Aqua, about our living arrangements..."

Aqua: "What about them?" she asks as she scarfs down some stew.

Ayumu: "I went ahead and rented a room at the inn, so-"

She drops her bowl when she hears the news, tears quickly forming in her eyes.

Aqua: "B-B-But- But Ayumuuu! I can barely split the cost of a room at the stables with you! *sniff* I... If you move out, it won't be long until I'm kicked out and then I'll have nowhere to go! Please, stay!"

If not for the concern of money and her personality, Ayumu would almost think that she's asking him to stay out of sentimentality.

Ayumu: "Aqua." She sits up straight. "I am willing to let you move in with me in the room at the inn. But-"

Aqua: "THANK YOU!"

She reaches across the table and hugs Ayumu, squishing him with the high amount of strength befitting a Goddess. She rubs her face against his in gratitude, something that only normally happens when he saves her from something big, something that would almost certainly have killed her had he not stepped in.

Ayumu: "A-Aqua! G-Get off-"

Ayumu (thoughts): 'This does feel nice though...' he thinks to himself as he feels her boobs rub against his chest. 'Oh well... Every good thing has to come to an end.'

Ayumu: "Aqua, I'm not finished yet."

She immediately stops her actions and sits right back down in her seat.

Ayumu: "Ahem, now then... I said I'm willing to let you move in with me in the room. However, I'm the one footing the bill. That being the case, I'd like to ask two things of you."

She nods, understanding.

Ayumu: "First off: I'd like you to contribute at least the same amount of money as you do now for the stables for the room at the inn. I know I have a lot of money right now, but I don't know how long that'll last. Since you've been able to afford it so far, I think it's a fair deal."

Aqua: "I... *sigh* Fine... And the second thing?"

Ayumu: "The second thing is that I'd like for you to actually take care of the room. You know, tidy up, organize our equipment and items, wash our clothes, make sure it stays in order, and other such things. The innkeeper will handle the laundry of the sheet and general maintenance, but the actual cleanliness of the room I'm leaving to you."

Aqua: "I'm a Goddess! I'm not your maid!" she protests. "Why should I, the Goddess of Water, Aqua, be subject to cleaning up after-"

Ayumu: "If you don't, I'll have no reason to allow you to stay in a room that would cost each of us 15,000 Eris a week as opposed to the 7,500 split between us. I already paid for the room and moved myself in, which means that you've got at most a week to find a place that you can afford. But remember, the stables are the cheapest place you can find around here, so if you can't afford that, you're shit out of luck, especially with the severe lack of quests."
