So obviously the cast of the original Hunger Games movies was fantastic. They did a spectacular job adapting the book series into a highly successful movie franchise. But for the purpose of this story, I need a younger cast. The teachers in this story (Beetee, Wiress, Haymitch, Cressida, Cinna, Lyme, etc.) will still be "played" by their original actor, but for the charactes that are current-day high school students, I have recasted them to give you a better visual of how they looked in my eyes when I first read the series.
This book follows the story of eight girls growing up and starting high school in Savannah, Georgia. They are the main characters and the point of view of the story alternates from chapter to chapter, but I have kept all the narration in third person, so hopefully that keeps it less confusing!
A lot of my main characters have very few scenes in the books and I didn't have a lot to work with, so, with the exceptions of Will English, MacDonald Grant, Brennan de Marco and most of the main characters' families, these characters belong exclusively to Suzanne Collins, no matter how much I made some of them my own.
My cast is intended to give you all some insight to how I see my characters. I hope you like them as much as I do!!!
