I groaned rolling over, "mom... Please.." I said, trying to hit the alarm. " Just... Five more minutes." I opened my eyes expecting my bedroom but was greeted by darkness... A cave... With glowing green light...

I looked down at the glow stick around my neck confused then looked next to me...

A pair of curious amused eyes started down at me. I registered. I was sprawled out across the makeshift bed half laying on riddick... I wasn't in my room.... I wasn't on earth. The sad fact of my location set in settling me into my new mind.

I groaned, letting my face fall into the blanket. I smelled of damp dust but I closed my eyes imagining it was my own bed at home...

" Dreaming of your mother?" He asked and I felt a hand on my head.

I flipped over staring up at the cave ceiling letting the old memories wash over me." yes.. well I was just dreaming of home, actually it was an old memory from high school. " I said it, stretching. I glanced over at him, "something... Tells me you haven't the slightest idea what high school is." I said it smirking.

He thought, " educational system?" He questioned.

I nodded surprised, " how did-"

He held up my journal, smirking. I went wide eyed. I had forgotten... He had taken that. I sighed sitting up looking down at my wrapped hands.

"Hmm no fight?" Heasked, almost let down.

I looked up distracted, " no. I mean you have already read all of it haven't you?" I raised a brow then smirked.

He nodded, " yes... I must say you lived... An odd life. It's interesting to read your development mentally threw the years." He flipped through the book. " Like here... You had a crush on a guy at school, you could think of anything else for...." He flipped for quite a few pages. " A year... Then when you hit 16 your mental stance changed suddenly boys meant nothing to you. Most likely due to the guy Josh .... Being disrespectful." He said it flipping back. "Multiple times actually. " He said it as an example.

He was saying it all as if it was a text book and he was simply reading a magnificent book.

I stared at him with a raised brow, " Yes.... I was a teenager. Driven by my hormones and emotions." I told him.

" Did you.. ever... " I tilted my head looking him up and down thinking, I never thought to wonder but..." how old are you?" I asked, suddenly wondering.

He grinned, " hmmm... " He tapped his chin. " Your planet seems to go off a year, at how many days?" He asked.

I blinked, " 365 days a year..."

He thought for a moment, " 36 years old on your earth." He said it looking at my face.

My jaw practically hit the floor and I stared at him astonished. " No way...."

He raised a brow, " your... Surprised?" He sounded amused again.

I nodded and crawled over to him examining his face, " you don't... Look that old." I said it breathing in his smell.

He flinched, " old?" He seemed surprised now.

I laughed rolling onto my back completely rattled. I couldn't believe it, he stared into the unknown, all the demons and all the death... he was so unfazed but being called old no!

He let out a breath out in relief leaning over with his head tilted smirking at me, " never heard you laugh..." He said it almost sounded sweet.

I wiped tears from my eyes, " I'm sorry just... That's too funny. My god... You're like this big, scary monster, a killing fearless God and you face everything with little to no fear.... But I just made you flinch by saying you're old." I said it fully smiling.
