Within a docking area, an Atlesian pilot leaning against a ship was counting Lien before looking to Weiss.
"Okay, you can hide out back in the cargo hold." He spoke. "I'll take you as far as I can, but if we get caught, you're on your own. Understand?"
Weiss nodded before she heard footsteps and turned to see Mariabell along with Licht, Denis and Tiamo. Weiss nervously gripped the handle of her suitcase as they approached, noticing Mariabell having an annoyed look.
"This is the transport you've decided on taking?" She questioned. "I suppose not even James would look for you in a cargo ship."
"We've made sure no one has noticed your escape." Tiamo noted. "But I'm sure they've been suspicious when you've locked the general and your father in his office."
"Got everything packed up and ready to go!" Licht exclaimed, cheerfully raising a fist.
"Is it really safe for her to go alone with you?" Denis got out.
"I'm going too." Callum spoke, scaring Denis and Licht.
"Wah!"
"In any case." Mariabell cleared her throat. "You're well prepared to leave, correct Weiss?"
"I am." Weiss nodded. "You did help me with my summoning before."
__________
(Flashback)Inside Weiss' room, she held up Myrtenaster and concentrated, the Glyph she summoned on the floor spinning quickly. Mariabell and Tiamo watched from the side as the Glyph started to flicker and slow down.
"Focus. It's getting unstable." Mariabell advised.
Weiss did as she was told, but she struggled to hold the Glyph before it dissipated. Weiss panted heavily and nearly fell when Tiamo managed to catch her and help her sit down. Mariabell sighed and walked closer to Weiss.
"At this point, you'll be stuck in here if you aren't able to do this." She got out.
"I'm trying. But it's just difficult." Weiss spoke, looking at her weapon. "It's far different from the normal Glyphs I'm able to do. Wha- Ow!"
"Hush. Do not say it is impossible if it can be achieved." Mariabell silenced, hitting Weiss' head with her parasol. "You know, your complaints are almost identical to Winter's."
"H-Huh? Like Winter's?" Weiss got out, rubbing her head.
"It's how she was when she joined Atlas Academy. At first, she complained about nearly everything. But in time, she knew that everything doesn't get handed to you immediately. Results aren't something you take, but rather earned. Winter went through trial and error in order to become who she is today. So do you want to be a Huntress like your sister, or do you want to stay as the doll controlled by your father?"
Weiss paused, thinking before looking down, her grip on Myrtenaster tightening. Taking a deep breath, she stood up and held up her weapon, Mariabell and Tiamo stepping back. Weiss created the summoning Glyph, her eyes closed as she focused. Weiss opened her eyes, looking at a portrait of a knight and spun around before jabbing Myrtenaster into the floor.
The Glyph grew in size and brightened the room, making Mariabell and Tiamo cover their eyes from the light. Eventually, a burst of wind erupted from the Glyph, shattering the windows. The two lowered their arms to witness what had appeared from Weiss' Glyph. The door of her room flung open as Klein frantically entered.
