6 am
Paul strolled into the hotel you were staying at in Oklahoma. After the hysterical phone call a few days before, he had booked the first flight out to make sure you were safe and to help you finish everything with your family to get you back home with him.
He took a deep breath as Paul stood in front of your hotel room door, trying to find the courage to knock. You had no idea he was coming in, and he wasn't quite sure how you would take seeing him there. Quickly running a hand through his hair and down his five o'clock shadow.
"It's now or never," He sighed as he knocked on the door.
Paul stood for a few minutes at the door listening to the shuffling in the room and grinning as you cussed. When the two of you started dating, it was clear you hated mornings from his first trip. You flung the door open, instantly going wide-eyed at the sight of Paul.
"Hi, honey, I'm home." He said, grinning, with his arms open.
You jumped up and wrapped your arms around his neck as the tears started to fall down your face. The man was definitely full of surprises. Paul ran his hand down your back and pressed a kiss to your cheek, trying to soothe you for a few moments before pushing you back into the room.
"I take that as you are happy I'm here." He laughed.
"How did you have the time to come out here with the baby this week and the band meeting?" You asked, still in shock.
Paul shrugged his shoulders before flopping down on the bed and patting the spot next to him. You rolled your eyes and took your place beside him, laying your head directly on his chest. Paul sighed as he wrapped his arm around him. A sense of peace, feeling the room as you both stayed silent for a few moments.
"Did you miss me?" You asked, peeking up at him
Paul stayed quiet for a few minutes, causing you to lift your head in confusion and stare at him. He sat with his finger on his chin, tipping it back and forth before his infectious grin dancing across his face. You shook your head and slapped his arms, pouting.
" You're joking. I didn't fly out here because I was missing the diner food." He told you, trying not to laugh.
"Anyway, back to my original question, how did you get out here? Don't give me a smart-ass answer either, mister," You said, pointing your finger at him.
Paul put his finger to your mouth, causing you to roll your eyes before he moved it away and slammed his mouth against yours, causing you to gasp. Before giving you a chance to recover, Paul shoved his tongue in your mouth and rolled on top of you, causing you to open your legs. Both of your tongues entangled together as he flexed his growing erection against you, causing you to groan into the kiss as you grind your hips back against his.
Paul broke the kiss attempting to move your neck, but you grabbed his face to stop him. You shook your head at him, causing Paul to sit up quickly, looking at you with concern.
"I'm sorry, Y/N, I got a little carried away," Paul told you.
"As much as I would love to stay in bed with you all day and am happy to see that you missed me, I gotta get to the hospital before the first appointment." You said, darting out of bed, as you felt Paul's hand swat at you trying to pull you back
Paul flopped back against the pillows and let out a big sigh as he watched you walk around the room, gathering stuff for the day. He debated rather or not to ask for more details on what had happened with you and your mom the night he and Evan had called you but wasn't sure he wanted to ruin the mood. Paul felt you staring at him, causing him to look at you and grin.
