Joellen's POV

After the coronation, we all jumped on our horses and rode into the town, parading through. I waved to people as they called out my name. There was no better feeling. I still knew that I would have to get used to the title but as long as the people were happy, I was too.

I occasionally would look down to Aslan, who was walking in between me and my brother, only to find him looking back at me with a smile.

I obviously would look behind me to see Ed, his face holding a radiant smile. Our eyes would meet and our smiles said enough.

We kept parading through the city until we had made our way back to the castle. Once I was back inside the castle, I was told to go change into the dress that was in my room. A ball was being thrown in our honor and Susan insisted on choosing my dress. I made my way to my room and opened the door only to stop in my tracks.

I was in awe of the beautiful dress

I was in awe of the beautiful dress... some people were there to help me get ready so I let them do their job. They also made me an insert in the dress that way I could carry my staff on me. They put me in the dress and did my hair and makeup. I looked at myself in the mirror and stared. I'm beautiful...

I smiled to myself only to hear a knock on my door a second later. The door opens and Cas pops his head in.

"Are you rea- wow... you look..." Cas breathes.

"Thank you..." I smile to him. "I can't see you, come in!" I laugh at him.

He steps into the room and I get a good look at his attire. "Handsome. You look kind of like Father just a little." I say. He smiles to me and then holds out his arm.

"Are you ready, Your Highness?" He asks with a smirk. "That I am, Your Majesty." I reply back with slight mischief.

We continue to walk down the hall making small talk when we reach the ballroom doors. We both take a deep breathe as we hear our names being announced. The doors swing open and we walk out and down the stairs.
