(You Know)
He showered and changed and told Terry to take him back to Club Xenon. He was determined to find out what had happened. The Rolls pulled up and Freddie marched into the club with purpose. He was mad again, but also curious. They were hammering and affixing chandeliers to the ceiling and painting walls in outlandish colors. As his eyes wandered, he marveled at what was taking place. There were large posters of all the groups that will be performing at London's Live Aid. Surrounding each band's poster were individual photos of each band member. A cardboard cutout of each instrument was place beneath each bandmember's photo to be replaced with a real instrument. He walked over to his photo and smiled. Small stages were erected for anyone wanting to perform. Quite an homage to each band. Philadelphia can take care of itself. Cynthia really knows what she's doing and obviously did her homework. Freddie shook his head from these positive thoughts of her, he didn't want to cloud the reason for being there. He was trying to hold on to his anger. He looked around for Cyn, but couldn't find her. As his eyes travelled the room, they became transfixed onto the two young men giving orders to the various workcrews. These were the guys from the night before that Paul introduced him to in Heaven. What were they doing here? Freddie's eyes widened, his heart raced and he felt he couldn't catch his breath. These guys, their boss? CL? He saw a casually dressed Cynthia walk in and go straight to Ryan and Scott, unaware of Freddie's presence. She was dressed for work wearing jeans, a t-shirt and sneakers and looking absolutely adorable. His brain was scrambling thoughts a mile a minute. It all became clear. CL was not "Ceil", but Cynthia Lewis. The boys practically told me that their boss fell in love. SHE WAS SICK! OMG! Freddie walked slowly towards Cynthia. He was standing directly behind her.
She felt someone behind her. Cynthia felt a breath and then a hand reached for her neck. She instinctively went into her protective martial arts mode and grabbed his arms and flung him over and onto his backside.
"Fuck" Freddie cried. He looked up at Cynthia while sitting in an uncompromising position, almost laughable. The great Freddie Mercury on the floor and on his ass. He then started to stand. The look on his face was hard to fathom.
"Oh Lord, I'm so sorry Freddie. You, you startled me." Cyn said.
"I startled you, my dear?" Freddie was on his feet and brushed off his clothes. A slight smirk formed along his mouth as he looked to Cynthia. He slowly walked toward her and held up his hand showing three fingers. Cynthia eyebrows furrowed and then a realization hit her.
"Freddie....? You wouldn't. You couldn't. Freddie?" she gasped.
"Come here my little vixen. Pappa has something just for you."
Cynthia looked around for an area of escape, a getaway, but the work crew gathered all around them and it was impossible to find an exit thru the crowd. Freddie too, looked around and found what he was looking for. He reached for a small paddle brush used for cleaning away the dust from construction that was perched on the table; he slapped it against the palm of his hand. The crew gathered around realizing what was about to happen and stood there helpless. She may have expertise in martial arts, but she was in no way a match for Freddie's speed and strength. He basically pounced on her and pulled her towards him with Freddie leaning against a table and one leg resting on a box. In a flash, she was bent over his knee and Freddie gave her three whacks on her behind.
