Chapter 41- Cassiopeia's POV

Hiding in the library is my favourite pass time, I should really do it more often. Like right now, I'm watching Molly and her friend holding hands under the desk as they work. Hugo and Lily have got their heads pressed together staring at a bit of parchment. Louis and Freddie are studying which is something I never thought I'd see.

I turn up my music and get back to work, I've got a flying composition that I have to get done by Monday.

.I should feel bad that I haven't got any friends to study with me. It seems that everyone else is in here with someone else. I would be working on this paper with Darcy but he's off with his friends playing that muggle game dungeons and dragons. Bit of a waste of time if you ask me honestly. I mean do you seriously have to escape to a magical world when you're literally magic?

Freddie comes over and sits in front of me. He taps his finger on the bit of the desk right in front of my nose to get my attention. I pause my song and take out my headphones.

"You alright?" He says, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms across his chest. His hair has gotten longer and curlier, it ends just under his eyebrows, nearly covering his eyes.

"Uh suppose so yeah," I say not really understanding why he's got a sudden interest in my life.

"No one bothering you or anything? Nothing I've got to deal with?"

I smile a bit, "What? You miss fighting people or something?"

He shrugs, "Just making sure that you're alright. I can't check in every once in a while?"

"Never said you couldn't," I say. He doesn't say anything, I can tell that he's thinking hard about something. "Are you alright?"

He sighs deeply and sounds just like dad when he's tired after a day in the shop. "Lets say Rose was dating some guy, and that guy kissed you. Rose found out and you two got in a fight. Then the guy tried to kiss you again even though that guy and Rose are still dating. Would you tell Rose?"

I laugh to myself a little, "That girl tried to kiss you again?"

"What? No, this is a hypothetical." He says.

"I would tell Rose. That's what families for." I say matter of factly.

He groans and rolls his head back, "Fuck you."

"Just saying what I would do," I say shrugging.

He takes a minute to himself, then he asks, 'Have you talked to Leah recently?"

"Not really. She and her friend have been acting weird, and I've been doing my school work and choir and band, and I'm thinking of tutoring a few first years."

"You think I should talk to her?"

I think about it for a minute, "I mean I think you should let go of your grudge against her. But talking to her is up to you Freddie."

He gets up from the desk, "Lemme know if you need anything eh?" He says before walking back over to Louis.

"Weirdo."

I stay in the library till the dinner bell rings, then I quickly pack up all my things and squeeze out of the library along with the rest of the students that were studying. I keep my head down, looking at my feet as I walk down the corridor and towards the Great Hall.
