Chapter 25. Fall Break

It's morning and now we are on our way to school. Me, Yunho, Yeosang, Seonghwa are in the schoolyard. All of us are chatting about random things when Yunho asked me "So how are you and San?" I got embarrassed because I didn't know what to say at this point.

I and San clearly shared the same feelings for each other, but he didn't try to make an effort to ask me out. He just became a little more affectionate that's it. "At least we are better than the start"

I said with a sad chuckle. Yeosang being my best friend for a long time knew how I was feeling about this topic so he held my hand and said "Hey maybe San is just shy about this or he wants to take it slow"

Yeosang never fails to cheer me up even the slightest bit. I looked up at them and smiled brightly that's when Anna came running at us. "Sorry for being late I had to drop Niki off at Big Hit University and Kate had to go home."

"Guys the squad is back like the old days," Yunho said very happy and he is right I really missed the old days. All these events happened once we changed our group and added more people.

Don't get me wrong I like my new friends and I do love San, but all of this is just too much. I really want my life to get back to normal. I want to go and have sleepovers with my friends, go partying with them, go to school, and get annoyed by the teachers who didn't let us breathe, eat and joke around with each other.

The first three days of school were like every single other one. That one day when Kate, San, Jungho, Mingi, and Hongjoong came everything changed.

"Life turned upside down," Seonghwa said sarcastically. "Yeah, everything changed and it will never be the same again," said Yeosang nostalgically, and that's when Anna spoke.

"What if we go back?" we all looked at her and she had one of her hands resting in her chin like one of those thinking positions with a realization smile all over her face.

"What do you mean go back? We can't time-travel and you know this" the rest of us agreed with Seonghwa.

"No No Not like that listen. Let's take a break from everything in the present. Let's go to Yunho's parents' beach house. There we can stay for the fall break. We won't tell anyone. Not Jungho, not San, not Mingi, not Kate and Niki. We will tell only Yunho's parents and my older siblings, but here is the twist we will tell them to not tell anyone else. If they ask why we will tell them the truth. So what do you think?"

To be honest, I love the idea I, Anna, and Yunho love the beach. Yeosang loves how quiet that place is. Seonghwa loves the food there. So we all get what we want, a win-win situation.

"What about clothes? All of them are at the base because we practically live there now." Yeosang has a point tho

"We also have left plenty of our summer outfits at the beach house since we always go there," she said again full confidence.

"So let's call it official?" Yunho asked excitedly. I was about to say yes but Seonghwa spoke before me.

"But why shouldn't we tell them where we are? They will be worried." he mostly meant that for Hongjoong. Now that I think of it why do we have to keep it a secret?

"Tell me does it look normal the way San in a dominant tone that you should stay with them from now on. In like what, not even one day after he 'confessing' to you. I don't know about you but to me it is fishy. Something is going on we need to go away till things get cool again"

"Maybe she is right. San never liked me that much and then all of a sudden wants me to live with them. She is right something is really up" I said and I believe in what I said.
