Chapter 27. Trip to the Past

I fell asleep as soon as we started the drive to the beach house. The ride is 3 hours long so I could get some sleep. After an hour or so I woke up and saw everyone asleep of course except Anna she is our driver after all. 

"Morning Wooyoung," she said and you could feel how tired she was since she hadn't slept in a long time. It is now 4:00 Am. I feel very sorry for her she is doing so much for us. "Do you want me to drive. You can get some sleep" Anna looked at me from the mirror and said with a smile to hide her tiredness "No no need Wooyoung but thank you for being considerate. You don't have a diver license anyway".

She is right I don't have them. Anna is younger than me but she can drive while I can't oh well, I just wanted to help. "I know you wanted to help Youngie but I can handle this is just a ride I love driving and trips you know don't you" I nodded agreeing with her. We all love road trips. In the past, we would do these trips a lot and have fun. 

Yes, we cherish our time together in the best ways possible. This is why I never wanted our team to change. The change of the team meant a change in our lives and this is what happened.

"Wooyoung now is only us. Like the old days and it's gonna stay like this for 2 whole weeks starting tomorrow" she said by now we are all used to her 'power'"Wait what do you mean tomorrow" I asked understanding the last sentences. 

"Today was a school day it's Friday so we are practically skipping school the fall break starts tomorrow" now I remembered today is indeed Friday. "But why tomorrow we are technically starting today," I asked again. "Because today doesn't count," she said straight forward.

"Better for me, I missed the old days" this was actually very good and I really missed the old times. "Yes, I agree with you Youngie. I missed these things too. Being in a gang and hurting people isn't right and I know but San and Jungho need help. I'm sorry if I disappointed you" she said actually Anna always apologizing for the smallest things.

"No it's not bad and we understand you love helping everything standing on this planet's surface" Her mom would scold her for the smallest things like asking a lot of questions. Kids do that very often but not her she was quite some and the team were her parents and thought her a lot about life. Her mom was told that the youngest kids are the most spoiled once. She didn't want Anna to be spoiled so she never treated her with a lot of affection. But that's not the case with Anna. And that's on character development.

Anna is actually an accident that happened between her mom and her mom's co-worker. That's why she looks different from the twins and her father. Of course, no one knows except Anna and us. We keep it a secret since Anna loves both of her parents and her siblings too. She is scared they will leave her. 

The good thing is that her Mom became more close to Anna when she turned 13 years old. This made us keep more silent about her mom's accident. She changed so we are trying to accept her as she is now.

Back to the road. Now it's 4:30 Am and everyone is awake except the driver. Our driver is half asleep. Seonhwa saw how tired she was so he offered to be the driver and told Anna to pull over. 

Seonghwa being older has a driver's license and it's very careful while driving. As soon as Anna sat on the front seat of the car she fell asleep in a blink of an eye. Yunho smiled at her for finally giving up and taking a rest.

"Now it's only us," Yunho said. "You know these two weeks will be awesome," Yeosang said very excitedly. "Yeah, It's been so long since our last relaxation at one of Yunho's places," I said thinking about it.

"Ye you are right Wooyoung. It has been a long time."  Seonghwa said with his eyes fixed on the road. "We surely will enjoy this trip" after this it became quiet. Like deadly quiet. Now it was 5:12 Am and we practically arrive at our destination at 6:56. Simple maths that I am successfully failing.

"Oh, I forgot to say, Miss. Jeong said we should keep the phones we have shared the numbers of with San and the rest and keep the extra ones so they would not track us and we can still communicate with her and the Hwang Twins" Soobin said remembering the extra information he had. 

After hearing this we all took our phones and turned them off. Only Yunho's parents, the Hwang Twins, and we had the numbers of these secret phones. When we get out of the car we will leave these phones here in the car and take only the ones we need. Soobin tuned off Anna's phone and opened her other one. He is the only one who among us has all her passwords. 

After 16 more minutes, it's 5:28 and Anna is now awake. "Why did you wake up we still aren't at our destination," Yeosang said a little worried "My sleep is now on the max level and my body wants no more sleep." Anna simply said. 

After a little while of dancing, singing, laughing, and just having the time of our lives we are finally here at the port. Why are we here you ask? Simple the house we are referring to is on an isolated island Yunho's parents bought the day he was born and gave the house to him and this house is only for the team. The Twins don't know where is house is they just know Yunho's PARENTS have one.

Not even Mingi knows about its existence. Which is a good thing. We took a small ship and parked the car in it while we sailed for a couple of minutes to finally arrive home.

We got out of the car after Seonghwa parked it in the garage. We got into the house and went to our respective rooms. This is a big house so each of us has a room with their bathroom. Something that you don't find in this rich boy's household is maids. Here are no maids who need someone to do such simple things as taking care of the house. Look at us we are great at it.

Each of us changed our clothes from winter to summer clothes since here is nearly summer every day. After we take a rest we will eat breakfast and go to the beach. Then at night, we will have a barbeque in the garden. Yunho is great at grilling squid. It's literally a chef's kiss.

I took a cold shower to stop the tiredness my body had. I threw myself into the bed after wearing some shorts and a wait t-shirt.

I tried to take a rest but San's face kept popping up on my head. What will he say or do when we get back? Will he hate me for lying to him? Well, I did something to lie to him if I had told him the truth he would have never said yes to me going. I mean he didn't agree with the thought of me going for a sleepover at Anna's place.

Feeling annoyed by remembering San's behavior I closed my eyes shut and sleep took over me. Still, I can't bring, myself to be mad at him so I wished him a good night.

"Good Night Sannie~ Don't worry too much about me~"
