Jackie's mom dropped us off. "Call me if you need anything. I will be here at around midnight to pick you guys up." She said as we got out. "Have fun!" She added and we shut the door. She drove off. "What time is it Jackie asked me. I looked at my watch. "About 8:15." I said. We walked towards the house. The door was open so we walked inside. "Al, Jack, I'm so glad you guys could make it!" Chris said as we walked in. Jackie rolled her eyes. "Would you like something to drink?" He asked me. I nearly died. "We have punch and lemonade." He said. "Can I just have some punch?" I asked him. He nodded and walked off. "Can you believe that Chris just asked to get me a drink?" I asked Jackie. She didn't seem amused. "When is it supposed to get good?" She asked. "Don't be so sour. Enjoy it." I told her Chris came back. "Here you go." He handed me a Dixie cup with punch inside it. "If you'll excuse me, I have to go greet some guests." He said. I nodded. I tasted the punch. It tasted bitter. "Is there supposed to be music? This party is boring." Jackie said. I hated to agree but she was right. There were barely any people. We saw our friend, Janice pass us. "Jan, were is everyone?" Jackie asked her. "Outside." She said. We followed her to the back door and walked outside. There was a big pool with beach balls and people jumping into it. There was a huge stage with nothing on it but a microphone. We were wrong. They're were people everywhere. We saw someone step on the stage and say, "We are sorry for the lack of music, the band will be playing in a moment." It was Chris. I ran over to him. "Hey, Al. Would you like to dance when the band gets on?" He asked. "I would love to!" I said. Three guys got onto the stage. The first one was about 15 carrying a bass guitar. He had blond hair in a Mohawk. The second was the drummer. He was really tall with brown curly hair. He looked older. Then the lead guitarist. He looked about 16 and he was cute. He had black messy hair and he was wearing a leather jacket. I looked at Chris. He was wearing his letterman jacket with a white shirt under it. "Our first song is called Somebody to Love by Queen." The lead guitarist said into the microphone.
