Brexley's POV

After Joe leaves to fly back and catch up with the rest of his band, I get to thinking. I know Joe really misses Sophie; he basically told me so last night, and I know both he and Sophie are so busy that they'll never plan a time to meet up again if I don't help them out. I think Game of Thrones wraps up filming for this season soon though, so now is the perfect time for me to see if I can work something out for them. However, I don't think I have Sophie's phone number anymore, so I have no choice but to contact her through Instagram. Not the most professional, I know, but it'll get the job done and hopefully move this process along a little bit more.

As soon as I call Sophie, she picks up on the first ring

As soon as I call Sophie, she picks up on the first ring.

"Brexley! Hey! What's going on?" she says cheerfully, and it's as though we haven't just gone years without talking to each other.

"Hey, Sophie! It's good to talk to you again. Listen, have you guys finished filming yet for this season?" I ask her.

"Not yet, we wrap within the next couple of weeks though. Why? What's up?"

"So, I'm assuming you know how Joe is on tour with his band, right? They're in Vegas now, but they come to New York in, like, three weeks or so. I could get you the exact date later, but would you want to fly over and come to the show?" I ask her, biting my bottom lip as I wait for her response.

"Are you kidding? Of course I would! I've wanted to see Joe sing in concert since I met you guys, but it just never really worked out for me. Let me know the exact date, but that would be fantastic. I'm not doing anything on the show break anyway, so maybe I'll stay over in the States for a little vacation anyway," she says.

"That would be great. I know Joe really misses you, and the rest of us do too," I say.

"I miss you guys more than anything, Joe especially, but at least I get to talk to him all the time. I never get to talk to you all anymore. Yeah, that sounds great, Brexley. I really want to make this happen now," Sophie says, sounding excited.

"Awesome. I'll definitely help you out with all this planning too. You can even stay over here if you want, so you don't have to get a hotel or rent a place out. But do you have to run this past your parents or anything?" I ask her, just realizing that she's a few years younger than Joe and I.

"I mean, I'll let them know, but I'm twenty now, Brexley," she says, a hint of amusement in her voice.

"Shit, already?" I ask, blinking a bit in surprise. I hadn't realized it had been that long since I'd seen her last, because last time we met in person she was only a teenager.

"Yes. It's been a long time."

"I guess so," I say, giggling along with her now.

"What if we kept this a surprise from Joe? Do you think he would like that?" Sophie asks, and I consider it thoughtfully.

"He does love happy surprises. Yeah, that would be a fun idea, I say we do it! I'll make sure I send you all the correct information as soon as we get off the phone today, and then did you just want to come over here once you guys wrap filming?"

"Yes. I'm seriously looking forward to this now. When is this? You said roughly three weeks?" Sophie says, and I nod before realizing she can't see me.

"Yeah. It's at Madison Square Garden. The basketball stadium," I clarify for her, just in case.

"Awesome. The only hard part is going to be keeping it a secret from him," Sophie says with a laugh.

"Yeah, I bet. You got this though," I say, and she giggles.

"Listen, Brexley, I have to get back to set now, but it was super great talking to you! I'll look into airfare as soon as we get done shooting for the day, okay?"

"Sounds great. I'll get our concert tickets today, but I'll get them together so that we're sitting by each other, alright?"

"Perfect. Thank you! Keep in touch over the next few weeks," she says.

"Will do. Good luck filming, superstar!" I say, and she giggles again before saying goodbye and hanging up.

This is going to be a hard surprise to pull off, but if we do, it'll be legendary. Get ready, Joe.
