SOOBIN'S POV

What is a day at Yonsei Uni like? You wanna know? It's normal around here, actually. Except that everyone knows how much I love my bestfriend. My bestfriend doesn't know about that. I'm kind of glad. But I'm kind of disturbed about my feelings. I'm always thinking how he would react if I wanted him to date me. We have a lot of evening classes which lasts until 7 or 8. So I get to see a Beomgyu a lot.

Yeonjun: Yo, you alright? Beomgyu is waiting for you at the vending machine!

Soobin: Huh? Oh, thanks for telling me, hyung.

Yeonjun: No problem! Meet you after break time, yeah? We have history soon.

I nodded and trotted over to Beomgyu.

Beomgyu: Hyung, hyung, hyung!

Me: Yeah, Gyu?

Beomgyu: My mom is finally allowing me to stay at a dorm!! And I wanna stay with you, hyung!

Thoughts run through my head.

Me: You sure you wanna stay with ME?

Beomgyu: Then tell me someone else I know who I'm not uncomfortable around with.

Me: Ugh, fine... Only because it's you.

Beomgyu: Aw, thanks, Soobin!

Me: Where are the honorifics at.

Beomgyu:Oops,sorry. I meant thanks hyung!

He smiled.

Me:So,since your stuff hasn't moved in yet,you have to sleep in an empty bed. No pillows. No stuffed toys.

Beomgyu: But I need pillows!

Me: And do I look like I don't need no pillows.

Beomgyu:Unless...

Me:What? Unless what?

Beomgyu:We share a bed!!

Me:Gyu- No.

Beomgyu:Why not?!

He asked, pouting at me cutely. He knows I like it when he acts cute. So he always does that to me when he begs for something.

Me: Why must you do this to me...

Beomgyu:Yay! Thanks,hyungie~

God, he's so annoying, help me.

BEOMGYU'S POV

I slipped into a pair of pyjamas that Soobin bought for me on the way back to the dorms. It's really cute! It was now 10 p.m. Before we headed back to the dorms, we also had a nice meal at my grandparents' restaurant. I just want to support them since they are having difficulties and issues these days. I feel like sleeping right now, honestly.

Me: Soobin-hyung... Aren't you sleepy?

Soobin: Of course i am.. we should go to sleep now..

Me: Yeah..

We laid down on the bed. I cuddled up to Soobin who was slowly smiling when I did that.

Soobin: Um, Beomgyu?

Me: What is it?

Soobin:....I really love you, Beomgyu. I want you to be my boyfriend so bad. I've been keeping it in for a long time. I don't want to delay it but I always do.

I was speechless. I wasn't ready for this yet. I mean,I love him too, but, I'm not ready.

Me: Hyungie... I'm not ready to be in a relationship yet. I love you too. But,I just need more time. I want to move slowly.

Soobin:... But what if someone takes you away from me?

Me: Then, your place to be taken by me is reserved just for you. Could you please give me a little more time, Hyung?

Soobin:Mmh. I can wait.. I'll wait till you are ready.

I smiled at his words and hugged him tighter, feeling a little guilty but I'm glad he took it well...

Basically, my own best friend was friend-zoned by me. But he didn't mind that. I know that he is patient. I'm glad he took my news really well. He really truly loves me. For now, I'll have to see how comfortable I am being in a relationship...
