Alabaster lay on the sofa and covered his face with his two large hands. He had arrived back at home a couple hours late and received the news upon his arrival. His best team was ambushed and completely obliterated, April was taken yet again and June was unconscious after the artery at the back of his head injured from the shot. He was lucky, the bullet only grazed the artery or it could be his death today if he had moved slower.
Jiu watched her son trying to calm himself as she made tea for everyone. Her heart was as restless as everyone else in the room. Ririca still sniffled from the shocking news. Zhongli tried to calm his sister although he had a deep frown on his brows and Dominic had a really dark expression. The atmosphere was heavy and sullen. Jiu was waiting for Alabaster in the airport as she heard the news from his subordinates. She almost fell but the subordinates held her from falling and immediately called the family for an emergency meeting.
The family gathered in Zhongli's mansion since it was the closest to an airport. It had been a few hours since he got her and Alabaster tried to calm his agitation. 'She can wait', she said.... She can wait.... Calming himself down. Rage only resulted a bad decisions, he reminded himself. He remembered his stupid plan when he was enraged with her first kidnapping. So, he had to calm down before he do stupid things again. Onyx could get dangerous if he became agitated. He couldn't endanger her in a process.
Alabaster sat up and crouched on his seat. He looked at his family with a thunderous storm with his sapphire eyes. They knew the meeting was about to start and paid attention to his next words.
"Let's call Lucca."

Quartz rested in the hospital with his broken leg. Onyx shot him. He angry as he remembering the scene. He completely ignored his own friend and proceeded on releasing a couple more shots like nothing. Quartz was pissed. A friend he knew since school did this to him. What had happened to him after all these years? He wasn't even sure if he should tell the group about this. Would they believe him? Onyx shot him for a woman and nearly killed two persons in the process. Maybe he should. But would that help to stop him? He was torn but at least, he should warn them.
When Marble received the news, his expression fell and immediately planned a trip to Kuching. Tuff and Tufa received it the next day as they were busy that night. They tried to make contact with Onyx throughout the night but none of them went through. The next morning, Quartz received an unexpected visitor. He was a bit wary. He introduced himself as an investigator of the Jacker family. As much as he wanted to protect his friend, Onyx had to be stopped at all cost. He had been too out of control. The woman might be in great danger if she stayed with him any longer. She was kidnapped for fuck sake! He just asked her for help to find him but how did things end up like this. Quartz didn't want to think the worst case possible but the situation was the worst.
While everyone was on the edge, Onyx had brought April to his private villa. Needless to say, it was a modern luxury villa at the edge of the high cliffs above the sea. The view freaked her out. She remembered one of her death scene, goosebumps crawled on her skin. The outdoor pool was much worse, it had a glass floor which directly showed the bottom of the cliff filled with hard and sharp rocks. Onyx noticed her uneasiness and squeezed her shoulder lightly. She hadn't been separated from him since she sat on his lap. The way she glued herself to him made him more excited. If fear made her closer to him, he wouldn't mind it.
"Don't worry. It wouldn't crack. The glass is made up from the highest grade materials. Come, follow me."
She jumped when he suddenly pushed her from behind. Instinctively, she grabbed on the nearest object she could hold onto. Her hands grabbed on his shirt as she screamed. He didn't stand still and threw himself along with her into the pool. The water splashed upon the contact. The anxiety rose as the water engulfed her body. The pool was 3m deep, so her feet couldn't reach the bottom, her anxiety went through the sky.
