The last day of the trip, the group decided to go for a nice dinner. They went to one of the restaurants owned by the Jacker Co. that was located at the peak of Ampungan Hill. There was nothing out of the ordinary. The atmosphere was nice, the service was excellent, the food was wonderful and the girls were having fun.
The night view from their terrace seat was amazing. The lively city lights looked like stars sparkling in the sky. The restaurant was the Jacker Co. first business and the finest restaurant in the city. The dinner went perfectly with each delicious food. April never had any fine dining before in her life so she was a bit flustered but Jenat and Jessie taught her all the etiquette with patience. Working in the company taught April all sort of new experience she never had before. It both overwhelming and exciting.
While enjoying the main dish, a waiter gave April a bouquet of red roses and an expensive wine. He delivered the gifts from a man sitting at the corner of the balcony by himself. Actually, he had a date but quickly cancelled it as soon as he saw her inside the restaurant.
A midnight blue hair and a medium beard man was sitting on the chair alone, raising his hand holding a beautiful red rose. He had a sky blue collared shirt that didn't do a good job hiding his beautiful bulky torso and a black pants with his surely expensive shiny shoe. April eyes remembered the man that helped her that night. She wasn't that dense. She understood perfectly the way he looked at her, lustfully. Recently, she had attracted some unwanted attention to herself and it made her a bit nervous. There was no such a plan at all.
He stood and sauntered towards their seat but his eyes never left hers. April became flustered as she realized he was coming closer and looked at the two girls beside her anxiously. Janet seemed excited while Jessie shared the same feeling as her. "April, is that the guys from before?", Jessie whispered. Jessie was ready to shoo him away but before she said anything, the man spoke.
"What a coincidence. I didn't know we would meet again. Such a small world, isn't it?"
April stood to greet him. She wasn't sure how to continue the conversation. So, she offered a handshake and he took it, squeezed her hand lightly. The man smiled sweetly with his handsome face and stood a foot away from her. He stood taller a head of her. April had to look up like she had to with Alabaster. She wasn't short at all, these men were needlessly tall. She was 165cm for fuck sake. Her complaints didn't escape her lips as she returned his smile politely.
"How was your hand, sir? I'm really sorry for what had happened that day. If you need anymore treatment...."
He waved his hand lightly and chuckled in amusement. This woman had been so pure and innocent in his eyes, it made him more attracted to her. He swore if he failed again on the bet, he would sure be teased to death by his friends, nonstop. But more than a bet, he wanted to know her more personally.
"I'm fine as you can see though it still hurts a lot."
His face showed a slight discomfort wanting to tease April a little. She fell for that and sweat nervously causing her cheek to flush a little. 'She's too cute', he was satisfied with her reaction. She stuttered to apologize again but he waved his hand as he chuckled.
"I'm kidding. Anyway, I'm glad to see you again."
He smiled charmingly causing any person to see it blushed, all the girls on the table weren't an exception as well. April glanced sideways trying to avoid his attraction. Of course, his cute laugh wouldn't help her situation at all.
"I'm sorry. Where's my courtesy. We don't even know each other's names yet."
He took her right hand. He bowed slightly so that their eye levels were the same. He made sure to lock his eyes on hers and kissed the back of her hand.
