DAHLIA

"Saan kita ibababa?"

Tanong ni Sebastian. He shifted a gear when he turned right to the Entrance of the subdivision.

"Kahit doon na lang sa kanto." Tinuro ko yung kanto malapit sa may clubhouse.

"Ayaw mo sa tapat na ng bahay?" Nagtaas siya ng kilay na tila ba nagdududa sa mga galaw ko. Ramdam ko na alam niyang may tinatago ako.

"Malapit naman dito yung bahay. Lalakarin ko na lang. Salamat sa paghatid, Sebastian." Hilaw akong ngumiti.

The cold expression from his face is evident and makes me shiver. "Papaano ka uuwi mamaya?"

"I have my ways, Architect. Don't worry about me." I survived travelling alone for many years. Kayang kaya ko ang sarili ko nang wala ka, Sebastian. "My boyfriend could just pick me up." I lied again. I have to make up something that would make him leave me alone.

I saw his face turned darker and doesn't seem to like what I said.

"Bababa na ako, Architect. Thank you again." I said and nodded before going out of his car.

I saw his jaw clenched as he gripped his steering wheel tighter. "Take care of yourself," he said coldly before shifting his gear and stepped on the gas.

I sighed. Why are you so mad, Sebastian? Don't give me false hopes. It's too late. Ayoko makasira ng relasyon kahit pa mahal kita. I won't get into that point.

"Dahlia, so nice of you to come here!" Alliana greeted as she welcomed me with open arms. Nakasuot siya ng black sports bra at leggings. Mukhang na-udlot ko pa ang work out niya. Halata sa kanya na talagang inaalagaan niya ang sarili nya. She's still sexy even after giving birth.

"Hi! I'm so excited to teach your son!" I cannot hide the excitement dahil panibagong bata nanaman ang matuturuan ko.

She smiled wider before turning her head towards the living room then back to me. "Nasa living room si Inigo. Halika," aya niya at hinigit ang kamay ko.

Pagpasok namin ng Living room, tanaw ko na ang isang batang lalaki na maayos na nakaupo sa sofa. His skin is fair and his hair was perfectly in a clean cut. Matangos ang kanyang ilong and he's got almond shaped eyes. To make it short, He got the looks from Iggy. There's no doubt na anak 'yan ni Iggy. This boy is undeniably handsome. Lahing Ildefonso nga talaga ito.

Napaisip ako kung what if kami naman ni Sebastian ang nagka-anak? Magiging kamukha ko ba or kamukha niya? I just hope sa akin magmana ng katalinuhan... if ever. But that won't happen..

"Inigo, your new tutor is here but please call her tita Dahlia instead." Aniya sa kanyang anak.

Inigo looked at me and gave me a smile. "Hi! I'm Inigo and I just turned seven last February."

"He understands filipino but he's not that fluent in speaking." Alliana explained. Tumango naman ako at nilingon si Inigo.

"I wanna learn how to speak in filipino because of my Papa!" He suddenly said.

Agad akong napalingon kay Alliana at binigyan niya ako ng isang shy smile. "Kung siya ang iniisip mo, you're right." She whispered.
