Stella's P.O.V

Once we got back home, I called up Jasper. I sat on my desk chair in my room as I stared at some of my things.

"Hello?" I heard Jasper ask. I snapped out of my trance and sat up a little more straight.

"Hey, Jasper. It's Stella. Your wife," I mumbled the last part.

"Stella! I've been waiting on your call."

"Really?"

"Yes. I was hoping on talking to you about our deal."

"Yeah. I'm free tomorrow if that works for you," I mentioned.

"That works for me."

"Are you sure? You don't have any meetings or anything?"

"No. All of my meetings are always on Fridays," Jasper explained to me.

"Okay. Where should we meet up?" I asked him.

"I know an excellent restaurant and I can pick you up if you want," Jasper told me.

"You don't have to do that," I tell him.

"I want to."

"Alright. Tomorrow at two?"

"Yes."

"I'll send you my address and I will see you then," I tell him.

"Can't wait."

"Hey, Stella! What do you want for dinner?" I heard Daisy call out. Luckily I hung up the phone before Jasper could hear.

"Anything is fine," I called back to her.

"I'm gonna make pasta!"

"Okay!"

I walked over to my bed before lying down onto it. I sighed as I stared up at the ceiling. Should I stay married to Jasper? What were the pros and cons be on if I stayed married to him? I guess the pros would be financially stabled with him as my husband. The con, I would be used as someone's wife and nothing more.

The next day, I dressed up nicely before Jasper picked me up. Luckily, Daisy was at work today so she wouldn't see or run into Jasper. As much as I loved my best friend, I honestly didn't know what to tell her if she saw us together.

"You look beautiful," Jasper complimented as he looked at me.

"Oh. Thank you," I blushed.

"Are you ready?" Jasper asked me.

"Yeah," I nodded. I closed my door before locking it. I followed Jasper over to his car.

"M'lady," Jasper smiled as he opened the passenger side door. I blushed as I thanked him.

Once we got to the restaurant, Jasper lead me inside before anyone could see us. I assumed it was from the paparazzi. I didn't mind as it would've made things complicated to explain.

"Mr. Kline, please follow me to your table," the hostess smiled.

Jasper and I walked over to our table in a private room. I looked over at Jasper who pulled out the chair for me a little. Our hostess put our menus on the table before letting us know that our waiter would be with us shortly.

"This seems like a lot," I shyly tell him.

"I wanted to ensure our privacy," Jasper assured. I nodded before sitting down.

"So, how have you been since I last saw you?" Jasper asked.

"Fine. I go back to work tomorrow," I explained to him.

"Where do you work?" Jasper asked me.

"I work in a bookstore in the mornings when I don't have class and I am a waitress at night."

"Two jobs and a college student?" I could see a hint of sadness in Jasper's eyes. I honestly didn't know why he was upset. This is just the world we live in.

"Yeah. It's not too bad."

"Well luckily, I have a proposition for you," Jasper told me. I noticed our waiter walk over to us with a smile.

"Hello folks. My name is Jason and I will be your waiter. Can I get you folks anything to drink?"

"Can I just get some water please," I asked.

"Of course. And for you sir?"

"Just a water as well," Jasper nodded.

"I will be right back with those drinks," Jason smiled before heading off.

"What kind of proposition are you referring to?" I asked once Jason left.

"Well, I can help you financially. You don't need to work two jobs. I can provide all of your funds," Jasper told me. My eyes widen a little.

"I-I don't know what to say. I still have college and I don't feel comfortable with you paying everything for me," I shyly admitted.

"Why don't we look at the menu and I will explain everything after we order," Jasper spoke calmly.

"Okay," I nodded.

I didn't know how to feel or react to all this. Once we ordered, Jasper went into further detail about what was to be expected.

"As my wife, you need to be in a good standing point. I did a standard background check and you are perfect. I'm sorry if it intruded into your privacy and I will assure you that I only checked on any bad moments," Jasper said.

"It's fine. It's like a job right? You needed to check my background anyway?" I tell him. I could tell he didn't mean to act stalkerish. Yet again, Jasper was an extremely wealthy and powerful man. I understood that he couldn't be tied up to anything bad.

"Yeah. If you were to agree on being my wife, I will cover any finances or loans you have. Of course, many people will follow you on your social medias and people will ask you to promote their items so you will be able to keep any money that they give you," Jasper explained.

"Like the Kardashians?" I asked. Jasper let out a small laugh.

"Exactly like them."

"How long do we need to stay married?" I asked.

"If it is alright with you, five years the most. Of course, if you fall in love with someone else, we can end the marriage sooner and nothing will be ruined. I will just simply explain that I was too busy with my work or that we fell out of love," Jasper told me.

"You won't be mad at me?" I asked him.

"No. I will not blame nor be upset at you if we needed to end the marriage a little before the five years," Jasper told me.

"So will I technically be like your sugar baby?" I joked. Jasper chuckled at me.

"I guess if you'd like to view it that way."

"Can you remind me on what do I get out of this by the way? I'm sorry. I just trying to comprehend this."

"Well, expenses all paid, you can keep anything I bought for you, and as long as you keep this a secret, then I will make sure that you have a good career and be well taken care of in the future once this is all over," Jasper told me. I nodded at him.

"Okay. I will agree to stay as your wife until the five years are up," I smiled over.

"Perfect. I promise you that you will not regret this," Jasper smiled back at me.
