The Manitoba wolf (Canis lupus griseoalbus), also known as the grey-white wolf, is an extinct subspecies of gray wolf that roamed in the southern Northwest Territories, northern Alberta, Saskatchewan, and south-central Manitoba.
Habitat:
Manitoba wolves supposedly reside in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Newfoundland, and the Northwest Territories of Canada.
Characteristics:
Manitoba wolves have been described as large size grey and white wolves. They are believed by many to simply be larger than Hudson Bay wolves.
Diet:
Their main food source is caribou, they also even other prey upon other animals included moose, deer, beavers, rabbits and rodents.
Status:
Extinct.
