The Kenai Peninsula wolf (Canis lupus alces) also known as the Kenai Peninsula gray wolf, is an extinct subspecies of the gray wolf that lived on the Kenai Peninsula in southern Alaska.

Kenai Peninsula wolves inhabited the Kenai Peninsula and adjacent areas in Alaska.
Characteristics:
The Kenai Peninsula wolves measured from 5 to 7 feet in length (nose to end of tail), 35 to 44 inches shoulder height, and weighed 150 to 200 pounds. They were one of the largest wolves in North America.
Diet:
Kenai Peninsula wolves fed largely on moose, which is how its scientific name Canis lupus alces was derived. They would also feed on other large ungulates.
Breeding:
Unknown.
Status:
Extinct since 1925.
