Jennie was helping Rosie set up her booth, lining up individual orange colored buckets and a black cloth in the background with cute cut outs of black cats and pumpkins to match the Halloween theme.

The cheer team dressed up; where Jennie put on a black crop top and black jeans, paired with black cat ears and a fierce black eyeliner which transformed her into a cute kitty cat.

Rosie was a pretty angel. Her long blonde hair looked extra silly underneath the sparkly halo headband.

Most of the boys wore their jerseys.

"Jennie!" Hobi screamed out, taking her into an embrace. "Taehyung told me you were good at painting."

"She always wins at Pictionary." Taehyung walked up to them.

She didn't even know he was coming.

Taehyung stood tall in a last minute vampire costume. He looked good.

Rosie and Hobi exchanged looks, a blush appearing on their cheeks.

"Come on!" Rosie dragged Jennie towards the face paint booth.

Hobi and Taehyung trailed behind them.

"Okay, things are getting weird." Jennie turned around to show serious concern.

Taehyung laughed, finding her facial expressions to be cute and amusing.

His laughter was contagious, making her laugh too.

The awkwardness between them disappeared in seconds.

Jennie smiled up at him. "You look good." She pulled him along to sit in one of the chairs behind face painting booth, leaving Hobi and Rosie behind.

The kids at the hospital enjoyed themselves, almost all of them having had their face painted.

It was hard to get past the feeling of sadness at how sick the kids looked, but the children were laughing and smiling.

Jennie decided it was hard to feel bad for them when they were enjoying themselves this much. She admired a little girl whose IV stand was decorated with pink sparkly stickers, and a little boy who asked her to paint Captain America's shield on his head.

She happily obliged to their requests.

After packing up her booth and doing after care, she went around the hospital looking for Taehyung.

They spent most of the time together while she painted on the children, but she hadn't found a private moment with him to tell him how much she appreciated him.

When she found him, he was lounging in a corner with a couple of boys around twelve to thirteen years old.

"No, Ironman beats Thanos! Ironman can fly, has an armor—There's no way Captain America is better!"

"Don't underestimate the Cap's ability for one to one field battles."

Jennie stood back, deciding to listen to them, seeing how relaxed Taehyung's been in a while.

"Once a loser, always a loser, huh Taehyung?" Kai sneered.

The young children looked up to see Kai's face, their grins dropping immediately.
