Uh oh.
Chris tried to get up, but failed, pain filling his torso.
Strike really kicked him hard.
Chris flinched as he saw another figure get thrown through the same window that he just flew through.
It was Slick.
Slick immediately scrambled up, noticing Chris on the floor and holding his hand out to help him up. Chris grabbed Slick's hand, standing up and immediately grimacing. "Thanks."
"O-of course."
Chris looked out of the broken window. "We need to do something quick. If we keep fighting so... normally there is no way that we could isolate Strike and/or defeat Mega and the police officers."
Slick nodded, shivering. "R-right. W-we could-"
Slick got interrupted by a loud crash noise, coming from outside. Chris looked back to the window, seeing Tekit on the ground, Strike and Mega hovering over him.
Oh no.
Chris' eyes widened. "We need to help him! What do we do?"
Slick looked around frantically. "I-I don't kn-know. E-er... g-get somewhere k-kind of a-away so th-that y-you and S-Strike c-could be i-isolated."
Chris then noticed that Tekit was now bound to the asphalt by ice, probably from Mega. The two heroes were still hovering over him. Chris turned towards Slick. "You need to help Tekit. I'll figure something out. Go!"
Slick nodded and immediately ran out of the building, to help Tekit.
Chris then just noticed that there were actual people in the building. The building seemed to be some sort of office building, the people inside looked quite formal and were probably all just the people that were working late. Every single pair of eyes in the room was on Chris.
They all probably just heard his and Slick's conversation.
Yikes.
Just for fun, Chris decided to use his telekinesis to lift up a table and throw it at some people congregated on the other side of the room. Screams echoed the room.
Honestly, screams were probably Chris' new favorite soundtrack.
Chris couldn't see how many people he hit because he turned around, eyes wandering until it landed on a specific thing in the room.
An elevator.
He could take it up to the roof.
The roof was an isolated space, and Strike could easily fly up there. It was the perfect place for a confrontation.
Chris casually strode over to the elevator, pressing the button. Chris turned around as he waited for the elevator to come, noticing that everyone else in the room was still staring at him.
Except now they were all huddled in a corner
This was actually lowkey hilarious.
As soon as the elevator dinged and opened, Chris walked in, giving the people in the room a wave as the door closed.
As soon as the door closed, Chris couldn't help but chuckle. The fact that people are so scared of him is something he never would have thought that he would enjoy so much.
Chris pressed the button for the roof level with his thumb, the elevator began to whir as it started to rise.
Chris tapped his foot.
This might take a while. This building was really tall.
---
After a long elevator ride, which got interrupted by the janitor trying to get in on one of the floors (Don't worry, he's gone now), Chris finally got to the roof.
Chris stepped out into the open air. The night was a bit chilly, especially since he was at a much higher altitude.
Chris walked up to the edge of the building, looking down at the scene. Tekit and Slick seemed to be fending off Strike and Mega quite well, the animated fight scene playing out below.
Chris needed to get Strike's attention.
Chris looked around for something to literally throw off the edge of the building, eyes landing on the elevator door.
Perfect.
Chris ripped the door off with his telekinesis, throwing it down right onto the asphalt.
Almost immediately after the door hit the ground, the heroes and villains both looked up. Slick seemed to know what was happening, immediately tackling Mega to the ground.
Strike began to fly up towards Chris.
Time for a confrontation.
A/N this was written really badly
