You and L had been dating for 8 years and L had gotten you pregnant about 9 months ago.
You were getting closer to your due date and looked like 'you were ready to pop' L's words not yours.
L had been working a lot due to the Kira case, but promised to drop everything if you went into labor.

As the Task Force was getting ready for another day of capturing Kira, Watari came in and told them that Ryuzaki would be out today.
" Out? Out where?" Asked Light.
" This information is not to be shared unless Ryuzaki would like to tell you."
The Task Force looked at each other confused and nodded.
Meanwhile, you were busy giving birth.
" Okay Mrs.(L/N), push!" The doctor said encouragingly.
" FUCK!" You yelled while breaking L's hand. The poor sugar obsessed man was on the verge of tears.
" You're almost there Miss!" The doctor yelled as she told you to breathe.
" Alright one more big push!" You screamed and pushed as hard as you could.
Then you heard the most beautiful sound ever.
The sound of your child crying.
L finally opened his eyes and was met with a tiny baby girl with black hair.
He felt warm tears fall down his face as they handed you your baby.
L stood up and pressed his forehead against yours.
" Thank you (Y/N)." L says and wipes some of the sweat on your face.
The doctor hands you your baby with a white blanket with pink polkadots.
" Congratulations! She's very healthy baby with no medical issues!" The doctor smiles.
" Have you two decided what you'd like to name her?" She asks kindly.
" Yes we have. We'd like to name her Ren." L said, smiling at the little baby girl.
" What a beautiful name! Ren it is." She says happily and writes it down.

The next day when L came back to work, he was bombarded with questions.
" Calm down please. If you'd like to know, your going to have to wait a couple of weeks." He tells them sternly.
They raise their eyebrows in suspicion, but agree.

Two and a half months go by and L has finally told them that the surprise was on its way.
The Task Force hears a door open and turns to see a woman with (H/C) colored hair wearing a dark gray oversized jacket with a black skirt underneath.
She also seemed to be holding something.
" Hello my name is (Y/L). It's a pleasure to meet you." You say and smile.
They then hear a sound come from the object you were holding. They see the blanket over it being pulled off.
Inside of the carrier was a small baby girl with two black pigtails and pale skin.
" A-A baby?!" They yell.
" Shut up! You're going to make her cry!" Misa says, doing a hushing motion.
" Everyone, this is my daughter." L says and takes her out of her carrier.
The baby cuddled into her father's chest and closed her eyes.
Everyone let out an 'aww' and gazed at her.
" She's adorable Ryuzaki!" Matsuda says, waving at the child.
" Thank you." L says.
" By the way Ryuzaki, is that women your daughters caretaker or something?" Light asked, intrigued.
" I'm her mother." You say and smack your forehead.
" You're married to Ryuzaki I presume?" The chief asks you.
" Yup. Four years,"
" She's two months old and everyday I pray for her."
" Why's that?" Asked Misa, concerned for the child's well being.
" I pray for her not to end up with her father's sweet tooth."
