My eyes fluttered open and I realised that I couldn't move. I was strapped down onto a gurney. I tried to scream for help but it felt like someone had ripped out my vocal chords.
"Jennifer!" I woke up with my head throbbing and tears streaming down my face. Ruvik was kneeling beside me. "What happened?" I asked worriedly. Ruvik hugged my gently and looked into my eyes. "You passed out. Are you okay?" I nodded. "Yeah... I just had a weird dream."
Ruvik kissed my cheek and cupped my face in his hands. "It was only a dream. Try not to think about it too much."
Laura came up behind me and laid her head on my shoulder. "So, are you gonna answer my brother's big question?" I looked at her. "Oh! Right! He asked me right before I blacked out." I turned my head to look at Ruvik. "My answer is yes. I will marry you." He smiled and hugged me again. "I love you Jen." I whispered into his ear. "I love you too."
