Neorah's POV

That is not the true story. I was never your father's mate. He treated me like his submissive. I obeyed him because I didn't have anywhere else to go or no one else to be with. I was not on birth control when we did it. And you were the result of our mistake.

Albert knew that you would be a hybrid. So he always trained you well to make your werewolf side dominate you. Although I didn't want that, I was afraid to speak against him.

He didn't even allow me to be close with you. He gave you to the other pack members to look after,when he was not around. But when you started talking, you preferred to be with me more than anyone else. You refused to go into other's hands.

You became very attached to me. Albert thought that you will take your vampire side as your dominant if you become close to me. He considered me as a threat to his decision. That's when he made the choice to wipe me from my existence.

He asked Henry to kill me. But Henry was a kind and generous person. He felt pity on me. So he confessed about Albert's plans and asked me to stay away from you so that I can live.

I didn't have a choice but to leave you behind. That's why I left you.

But as time passed, we became really close and fell in love. I wanted to see you grow...Get graduated...And marry someone you love...

Your father ruined my life...My desires... In fact, he ruined both our lives. Henry was killed by one of the Royal members for being my mate. That's when I decided to find you. I need you back, James. I want you as my son. I want things to be normal like it was years before.

Everyone stared at her. They were shocked. But suddenly, James laughed aloud. Seeing this, Jacob lost his self control and laughed, tears flowing out his eyes.

Others were dumbstruck. They didn't know why James and Jacob were laughing. Emy stared at Jacob puzzled.

"Neorah, did you seriously think he would believe this?" Jacob asked, trying to suppress his laughter. Neorah glared at him.

"I thought he helped you to make such a horrible story." James commented.

"Oh hell, no! - If you had asked me, I would have helped you to make something better." Jacob said.

"James, I wasn't lying. It's the truth." Neorah defended.

"An ultimate like you obeyed my father because he is werewolf? Should I believe that?" James questioned her.

" Then what about Aiten? Why did you cheat him?"  James queried.

"Because of you he switched off his humanity. Answer me, Neorah. Why did you cheat him if you were such a kind-hearted woman?" He shouted.

"How did you come to know about that?" Neorah asked in disbelief.

"I informed him." Max smirked.

"You..bitch!!" Neorah spat.

"That name suites you more better." Max mocked.

"Enough, Neorah! I am fed up of this. Even if your story is the truth, I hate you for killing my mother and I will never feel pity for whatever torture you had experienced in your life" Emy roared.

"So will I" James added, holding Emy to his side.

Jacob gritted his teeth in frustration when he saw James holding her hand. But he looked away as soon as Emy noticed that. Emy  giggled in her mind eyeing his frustrated face coated with jealously.
