It was the night before their journey to the dark army. Kate and Seth were lying on the bed.

"Kate?" Seth called.

She glanced at him.

"Are you afraid?" He queried.

"No. Not at all." She turned to his side and raised her head finally supporting it with her hand.

"I really have a bad feeling about this."

"Seth,what is the matter?" She enquired.

"Kate,we are literally pushing you into a den full of ravenous lions --
Do you expect me to stay calm realizing that fact?" Seth questioned.

Kate chuckled.

"I know it's dangerous. But even if I die, I will be happy that I got enough time to spent with you. You were the most precious thing I received after my transformation. I --" Kate couldn't complete.

Seth kissed her with all his emotions. His eyes were wet.

"Kate,please don't talk like that. You know it's impossible for me to live without you." Seth mumbled.

"I know." She gazed at him.

" And I need to experience one more thing before my death." She stared into his eyes with a determined look.

"Whats it sweetheart?" He asked.

"Guess what?" She said with a seductive look.

Seth returned the smile. He kissed her passionately and rolled on top of her.

Neorah was pissed off. She wanted to rip off Emy for turning her son against her.

She was annoyed with Jacob too. Neorah wanted to kill Jacob for laughing at her. Still, she managed to lock her tongue inside her mouth and prevent it  from yelling at the only support she had.

She took a deep breath to free her mind.

"Jacob, you love her don't you?" Neorah enquired.

Jacob was startled.

"What are you talking about?" Jacob asked.

"You clearly know what I am talking about." She snapped.

"No, I don't." He lied.

"Jacob, I know you are in love with Emerald. And you don't need to lie. " Neorah spat.

"Fine, I have feelings for her. But she believes that you are my girlfriend." He admitted.

"Oh, they did believe that nonsense? " She wondered.

Jacob huffed.

"Whats your problem, Neorah? Why are you targeting her?" He questioned.

"She is the reason why my son turned his back to me." She justified.

"She is not the reason, Neorah. You are the reason. You left him years before to enjoy your life. You never cared about him. So, don't expect him to care for you. " Jacob paused and continued,

"I will never blame him. I would have done the same thing if I was in his place."

"Well, whatever. But I am gonna take my revenge." She clarified.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"I am gonna kill her so that he will be broken." She said.

Jacob stood aghast. He felt like an arrow piercing his heart as he pictured her lifeless body. Her cold,pale face and her dead eyes staring into the unknown in fear. Her clothes covered in blood.
