Getting Powers

Sonic and his friends are setting up to watch a meteor shower. "Snacks?" Amy asked doing a checklist. "Check" they all responded. "Blankets?" Amy asked. "Check" they all responded. "Well seems like we have everything set up" Amy said. "Great" Sonic responded. "Hi" a mopy voice said, behind them. When the group turned around they saw Shadow standing with his arms crossed. "You need something Shadow?" Sonic asked. "Yes I do" Shadow answered. "It also involves the fox" Shadow said. "Me?" Tails asked. Shadow nods.

"Why?" Sticks asked. "It has to do with a glowing meteorite outside of my house. It is blocking the way in and since it's glowing I need to know if it's safe to touch" Shadow explained. "Strange" Amy said. "Let me see this meteorite I don't think they should be doing that" Tails said. Shadow nods and leads them to his cave. There, a glowing purple meteorite was blocking the front. "Strange. The last comet doing this switched Sonic and Eggmans bodies but I think it's safe to touch" Tails said. Shadow and Amy tries it and they didn't switch. "Well now we know it doesn't do that" Amy said and crossed her arms. Sticks and Sonic touches along with Tails and Knuckles next. They try moving it but it didn't budge, deciding to find out more about it tomorrow they went home.

When they got home weird stuff was going on. Sonic laid on his hammock when yawning he breathed fire? Amy she took a shower but it started to turn to ice every breath she makes on the water? Tails when flying home caught a lot more wind than usual? ...But managed to get home. Knuckles when going to Tails's house in a different route had flowers grow with every step he took? Sticks let Shadow stay with her in the condition of not touching anything he isn't allowed to touch. She got a tiny flood which isn't much of a problem. Shadow on the other hand accidentally made the water electrical water. "Uh oh" the two said and slept outside the burrow for the night.

Morning came and they all met at Sonic's Shack. "So, anyone else getting powers?" Sonic asked. They all nodded. "My burrow has electrical water!!" Sticks shouts. "Could it be from the meteorite?" Sonic asked. "Most likely.. it was glowing and none of this actually happened before" Tails said. "Well then what are we supposed to do?" Amy asked. "I suggest that we learn more about these powers and how to control them before anyone gets suspicious" Tails said. "Alright" they respond. For the rest of the day they try to learn how to use their powers. So far there isn't much luck. Sonic burned his ascot needing to buy a new one. Amy froze the water towards Eggmans lair. Tails had a gush of wind hit the village. Knuckles had the jungle impossible to get through. Sticks had made Sonic's entire hut wet. Shadow caused a small forest fire that was dealt with already. "Well that isn't working" Sonic said. Everyone else nods. "How are we supposed to control this?" Tails asked, walking up to Sonic instead of flying. "No clue" Sonic said and they try to come up with ways to control the powers.
