[JOJO, SteelBall Run] Diego x Reader

You, Gyro, and Johnny were sitting by a fire and playing guess who.

"I'm hosting the steel ball race. I'm a rich asshole and-"

"VALENTINE" You scream at Johnny.

"You two are too good at this, I want to say one." Gyro said as he sighed.

"Then say one."

Gyro giggled and sat up.

"I eat rocks and screech."

"ITS DIEGO BRANDO." You scream without hesitation.

"Dang it I was hoping you guys wouldn't notice me here" Diego said as he jump out of the tree behind you.

You scream, grab out your pistol, and shoot him 3 times out of fear.

"Nice fight or flight, (Y/n)." Gyro said as him and Johnny snicker.

"Shut up. Can you guys help me patch him up."

"No that's your problem" Johnny says.

You sigh and walk over to Diego, who was on the brink of passing out.

"For a guy who almost killed us, your a pretty big pussy when it comes to getting shot."

"Suck a dick (Y/n)" Diego says then passes out.

You lift him up and walk him over to your tent and pull out your sleeping bag. You set him down on it and grab the first aid kit you brought. You patch him up and walk back over to the fire.

"Where the hell am I supposed to sleep now." You groan as you plop down on the stump you were originally sitting on.

"Just kick him off and take back the sleeping bag." Johnny said as him and Gyro get up and go to their own tents.

You watch them walk away then you focus back on the low flame. After a few more minutes of looking at the fire you decide to head to bed. You walked over to Diego who seemed to be sleeping. You picked up Diego and moved the sleeping bag back into the tent. Even though he was a opponent, you would fell bad if he slept out and get bit by a snake or bug. So you laid him inside your tent then got in. You made sure he was facing the other side of the tent's wall and you started dozing off then fell asleep.

In the middle of the night you felt movement in the tent then a tap on your shoulder. You flipped over quickly to see piercing blue eyes, staring into yours.

"What!" You say in a whisper, trying not to wake the other boys.

"Why the bloody hell am I in your tent."

"Did you want to get bit by a snake or a bug sleeping on the ground. Plus it would hurt even more then usual since I shot you."

He sat up and glared at you.

"Fuck that, I don't need your dumb hospitality."

You turned over and slammed you hands on the side of him.

"LISTEN HERE YOU COCKY BASTARD. IM TRYING TO HELP YOU-"

"YEAH AFTER YOU SHOT ME THREE TIMES."

"I WAS TOLD TO LEAVE YOU OUT, BUT NO I DECIDED TO HELP YOU AND MAKE SURE YOU WONT HURT SUPER BAD WHEN YOU WAKE UP. SO INSTEAD OF YELLING AT ME SAY THANK YOU."

You start gasping for air. Diego was speechless and surprised at how fast you snapped back. You pulled back your hands and flip back over.

"(Y/n)?"

You flipped over, irritated.

"What" You snarl.

"Sorry. I'm just getting a lot of stress from this race and I guess it's resulting in rage."

Now you were surprised that he apologized without being cocky. Seeing a soft side to him made you smile.

"I forgive you"

"Good. Now since you hurt my feelings can I get a kiss."

You glared at him

"No."

He sighed and rolled back over, to sleep. You were about to do the same but you quickly pecked his cheek, before you did
