even though the older male had a calm composure, she could still feel the rage behind his voice
the girl stood quietly with her head lowered to the ground, unable to look in his cold eyes. it's not the first time she's gone through this but each time this happens, she never gets used to it - she only breaks down harsher by the time she's alone
education is the top one priority for her parents. they wouldn't even bat an eye at her if her score isn't perfectly 100, getting under it will only earn her another useless and long ass scolding - just like now
"no answer?" he deadpans
"i'm sorry" her small voice was almost inaudible due to how big his office is.
the father sighs, before motioning the girl to leave,
"you can go to your room now. i hope you can pull yourself together, tomorrow's your first day as a junior, so study hard"
she nods before turning her heels around left the room without saying a word. she stayed silent as her feet patted against the soft carpeted floor before finally arriving in her room.
she sluggishly walks towards her bed and fell with a soft thud. her eyes focused on her ceiling as if it was the only thing interesting in this world
a sigh escaped her lips before muttering, "are grades the only thing that matters in this world?"
unknowingly to her, tears already slid down her cheeks causing a wet feeling on her skin. her hand moves up to wipe the tear away as an amused scoff left her lips,
"stop crying already, no ones going to help you"

hello peeps! this is my first book i've ever written and it was first published on November 3rd, 2018 and ended on February 24th, 2019
much love was given to this book but i believe i can give the readers a better story so i decided to unpublish and revamp it on November 3rd, 2020
and it's been republished on December 14th, 2020
do know, that rain, tutor, and housemates are only connected because they're in the same world. they have different storylines and main characters so feel free to read which book you want as there is no specific order to read it (extra note; all of my books are single books which means there's not one single book that is a sequel to another book)
please remember that English isn't my first language and i've already tried my best to write an exciting storyline for you to enjoy
