I'm so sorry that I haven't updated in a while. I dropped reasons on my message board. The past week has been really stressful for me, you have no idea. But I'm back now and updates will be constant.

"I'm still shocked that you are not too pained about loosing the gold to Sophia." I stated, still surprised at how Skye had handled the entire thing. We were outside in central market, getting snacks. Somadina and Vanessa had gone with the sport masters to prepare for the track race. Students from other schools were also loitering around, most of them already clad in their sport attire.
Tonight's track race will be hot. I was sure of it.
"Well..." Skye started causing me to look away from the students walking around and back to her. "I guess I knew I wasn't going to win from the beginning, so before I even entered the pool, I already accepted that fact." She shrugged but I gapped at her.
"So all the motivational speech Jamal was dishing you this morning was just okoto meow kutu meow?" I asked her only for her to burst into laughter.
"Jesus, El. That slang is not sweet in your mouth, abeg. Don't use it again." She said between laughter while I flashed her a mock scowl.
"Leave me abeg." I told her but she kept laughing. I sighted Sophia walking towards us from just a distance away and nudged Skye who looked towards the direction I was pointing at.
"Hey girls!" Sophia chipped excitedly and we responded in the same manner.
"Great win today." Skye said and I nodded in agreement.
"As in babe, you are like a fish inside water. You are super fast." I hyped and Sophia smiled.
"Thanks. It's not that easy any way. Skye, you are really good too. Honestly, I felt really challenged today." Sophia said matter-of-factly and Skye grinned, nodding in appreciation.
The duo began to talk while I went ahead to get more snacks from a shack. After paying for the Mary land cookies and smoove, my eyes all on their own went to survey the surrounding. Everyone was either in pairs or in groups. I noticed how student from Crescent High bonded with Limelight and I also noticed from day one how Limelight and Atlantic Hall had some sort of bad blood.
Maybe from a past feud. Remind me to ask Skye about it later even thought I have also noticed how much of Assholes their guys are and how bitchy their girls behaved.
Like they owned the place.
I realized that I haven't seen Kunmi and Aminah since we left for breakfast in the morning. Though, I can guess where Kunmi was, all I needed to do was to look for Adam. But Aminah, she seemed sorta lost. This morning, she had been so absent minded. I can remember Kunmi calling her name more than three times before her attention was back to us.
It was strange. Yet, I was drawn to her.
Then Tolani,
Tolani has been unusually nice to everyone since yesterday evening. She actually lent me her hair brush when I needed one and Kunmi was typing away on her phone, oblivious to me asking her for brush. I couldn't even collect it. It's all too sketchy for me. The Queen bee can't be suddenly nice without a catch. My antennas have been on alert all day.
