Truck 81

Casey breathed more air in through the mask and searched around the room looking for a body.
"Fire department. Call out." He continued to search and walked through the tall plants. "Chief I think this place is clear. I can't see much more."
"Alright Casey, come on out."
He walked back down through the corridor and out the front of the house.
"You might want to get the police down here, there's marijuanha everywhere," he said taking off his mask.
"Did you see anything that could've started the fire?"
"My guess would be the overloaded power boards but I'm not sure."
"Any flames?"
"Not that I saw. She's just smoking."
"Otis get some water on it just to be sure."
He nodded and the men started covering the house in water putting out any chance a fire had of restarting. Once they were done they rolled the hoses and waited for the police to arrive before heading back to the house. As they pulled in the bells went off again.

'Ambulance 61. Assistance needed in a car pile up'

"Thank god that's not us. I couldn't handle another call," Herrmann said getting out of the truck.
"I've got to agree with you there."
"Hey Mills, what's for lunch?" Casey called as Mills got out.
"Pasta."
"And thank god for a decent meal. Cindys trying to get me on a health kick."
"Serve it up!" Kelly yelled as they walked inside. The men waited patiently in a line and were served before sitting down. Mouch turned on the tv so they could watch the football.
"What even is this crap? Couldn't they put two decent teams on tv on a Sunday afternoon?"
After Casey had finished he walked down the hall and into his office picking up his phone.
10 missed calls from Gabby
He unlocked the phone and listened to his voicemail as he walked back down the corridor. The alarms sounded.

'Truck 81. Women in labor.'

"How did we get called to a women in labor?" Herrmann asked standing up.

'64 Northshore Avenue.'

Matt put his phone down and looked up, meeting eyes with Kelly.
"Because that's Gabby."
