the four of them got into yunho's car as they agreed to pick up someone on the way.

"alright, so where to?" the blonde asked, already starting the vehicle.

"san's!" wooyoung excitedly says.

"have you even asked him?" jihae snickered, buckling up her seatbelt.

"it'll be a surprise, and his mom loves me!" the silver haired grinned. "i'll also call yeosang and jongho to see if they're down."

he scrolled through his contacts and put the call in speaker mode.

"what do you want?" a blunt, bored voice answered.

"glad you're doing well, yeo." wooyoung rolled his eyes at the greeting while the others snorted. "anyway, wanna have a sleep over? we're all coming."

the boy on the other line paused for a second or two. "who's coming exactly?"

"jihae, yunho-"

"can yeona come?" yeosang almost immediately asked.

and just as those words left the speaker, the car abruptly stopped, causing the other three to complain.

"what the hell, yunho?" jihae scrunched her face.

"where was san's house again?" the driver questioned, ears growing a shade of red.

"turn left." the female sophomore directed.

"you guys good?"

"perfect." wooyoung answered the brunette while glaring at his tall best friend. "of course, yeona can come. you know where my apartment is, right?"

"don't be such a pussy-" yeosang's voice became fainter as if pulling the phone away from his mouth. "yeah, yeah, we'll be there."

"see you!" and he ended the call.

"hope you don't mind, i texted seonghwa so he's coming with hongjoong." jihae informed the group.

"the more, the merrier." beamed the culinary major. "next person, jongho."

he dialed the freshman's number only to be greeted with a voicemail. "looks like he's busy."

wooyoung proceeded to dial somebody else's number. "mingi! wanna come to my place? we're having a sleepover."

this time, he didn't put the phone in speaker mode like the previous call, so the rest couldn't hear the conversation. that made the yunho really anxious.

yes, he's been sharing a few words with the redhead but it was nothing like how they were before. how he wishes they could be close buds again.

"great! my place, now." the culinary major instructed and hung up.

"is that san's place?" the blonde pointed at a well-lit house.

wooyoung nodded excitedly and opened the car door. "i'll ask his mom first. wait here." he proceeded to jog to the house.
