RUBY WAS ON HER WAY TO THE LIBRARY WHEN QUINN FABRAY YANKED HER BY THE WRIST AND PULLED HER IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. Managing to get out of her tight grip once they were in an empty classroom, Ruby looked at the blonde like she had three heads. Having not answered any of her questions as she was dragged through the corridors of McKinley.

Quinn didn't say anything, just glanced at the younger girl from under her eyelashes as she begged herself not to cry in front of her boyfriend's best friend. When she finally looked Ruby in the eye, Ruby realised the blonde's big blue eyes were brimming with tears.

"Quinn?" Ruby took a step closer to her, "Is everything okay?"

Quinn just shook her head unable to get her words out properly, "Swear to me you won't tell anybody Ruby. You have to promise me?" She begged the brunette she had become close to over the course of her relationship with Finn, the panic in her voice scaring Ruby.

"I swear Q. What's going on?"

"I'm pregnant." She managed to get out in a whimper.

It was so quiet that Ruby nearly didn't hear it and then again she was positive she had misheard what her friend was telling her. She couldn't be, she was the leader of the celibacy club for goodness sake! Ruby had to go to that stupid meeting with her the other week. There was absolutely no way that Quinn Fabray was having a baby.

"Quit messing around Quinn. It's not funny!" Ruby let out a nervous laugh.

"I am. But you can't tell anyone. Especially not Finn, he can't find out before I tell him. Or Sue. Oh my god! Sue can't find out or I'm dead. This cannot get out Bee!"

"Promise. Have you managed to see a doctor? Do you need me to go with you? Because I will. I'll help out however I can." Ruby sent her a sad smile as the blonde pulled her into a hug, crying into her neck. "Please don't cry Q, everything is going to be okay. Promise."

RUBY WAS UNAWARE IF FINN HUDSON HAD FOUND OUT ABOUT QUINN'S SITUATION OR NOT YET. But by the care free attitude he had about him at lunch told Ruby the blonde still hadn't got round to telling him just yet but she had to tell him sooner of later because Ruby didn't know how long she could keep something like this from him.

Ruby was also unaware if it was the fact Finn had finally wore her down and convinced her or she had agreed to just shut him up because it would be a distraction from the news he was about to receive. But Ruby Carter was allowing Finn Hudson to excitedly drag her by the hand through the school to find Mr Schuester so she could audition for the glee club.

The pair found Mr Schuester tidying away some sheet music in the choir room, when Finn came barging in and gaining the Spanish teacher's attention.

"What's up Finn? Hi Ruby."  He sent the girl a warm smile.

"Ruby here has finally agreed to join the glee club if you'll let her!"  He grinned smushing her against his side in a tight grip.

Uncomfortably ripping his long arm from around her shoulder, Ruby brushed herself off as she stood in front of Mr Schue. Sending him a small smile in embarrassment from her best friend's over the top behaviour, she was almost regretting wanting to give up her peaceful life up for the boy standing next to her.
