Somebody To Love - Fantasy Prequel {Glee}

This chapter is set in the summer between Season 2 & Season 3

RUBY CARTER WAS VERY GRATEFUL FOR SANTANA LOPEZ AND NOAH PUCKERMAN. A sentence that just over a year ago she never thought she'd hear herself say but since losing Nationals and finishing the school year and everything that went down with Sam leaving, Ruby needed a distraction. Sure, to begin with Puck's excessive need to hang out was annoying but she knew he meant well and Ruby actually grew to miss the days he didn't check in on her or talk her face off.

Santana Lopez on the other hand was less annoying than Puck and Ruby enjoyed every second she spent with the Latina. Between cheer camp with Santana and Brittany, dance classes with Mike and her friend excessively cursing Sam Evans into oblivion since she heard about him and Mercedes supposedly dating the two teenagers had become closer than ever. Ruby learnt however to never get on her bad side, which she kind of knew anyway but now it was definitely confirmed after she heard her curse him into the next decade.

"I swear to God Bee. No one breaks my girl's heart and get's away with it. I mean it. He's lucky I've not broke out the voodoo doll!" Ruby rolled her eyes when she said this but she was a little scared she wasn't going to lie. "Seriously both Mike and Puck gave him a talking to in New York and he still didn't grow any balls to ask you out. I mean what the hell is that about?!" She ranted to the younger girl.

 But it only proved Santana was once again proving what a fiercely loyal friend she was and Ruby loved her for this, what she didn't love was the hint of jealousy when she found out she was also spending an enormous amount of time with Noah Puckerman.

"Santana. I'm allowed to hang out with other people when I'm not with you!" Ruby laughed at her being dramatic.

"Not when it's Puckerman! Hell! You'll be popping out one of his sprogs next!" She countered acted your statement dramatically.

"Ewww you know, it's not like that! From me anyway! You know he'll lose his nuts if he tries anything. I've got a queue of people lined up, who I know have my back. Just chill."

"Yeah, well Finn will need to detach himself from Berry's face first if he wants to step up on his best friend duties. Speaking of, I still can't believe you slept with Hudson! What the hell Bee!"

Ruby rolled her eyes. "I don't even know how you found out! We've told no one!" The brunette groaned, knowing the teasing wasn't going to end anytime soon.

"I know everything Bee."  Santana shrugged like it was nothing. "Plus now we have something in common." Ruby looked at her, her expression deadpan. "I can't wait until Berry finds out!!!"

"No!" Ruby spat out quickly, "Please. Look I don't care that you know. But Rachel cannot find out or at least not for very long time. We've seen what she does when she doesn't like people and I will NOT be sent to a crack house Santana. I won't!"

"Fine!" The brunette sighed at Ruby. "Berry doesn't find out. Honestly, I'm just relieved it wasn't Puck you lost your virginity too! I do not need baby gate 2.0! Or that Jesse kid! God I wanted to punch his smug little face off when he dropped that bombshell on us!" Santana trailed off.

"God! I've had enough sexual encounters with him. No thanks!" Ruby laughed, causing Santana to whip her attention back to the younger girl.
