"Ortega...this is your fault..." Suji said.
"I didn't know this would happen!" Ortega cried.
"You shouldn't have stolen that compass from, what store was that again!? Ugg, I'm to angry to even remember it!" Suji cried.
"Lucky 7! And to be precise, it's Soleil's fault! She shouldn't have tripped over my shoes the first place and shatter the compass in her feet!" Ortega cried.
"Hold up. So my soul is linked to your soul because you fucking tripped!?" Sol cried, glaring at me.
"If your shoes were never in the way in the first place, then Soleil wouldn't have tripped over them!" Suji yelled at Ortega.
"Wow! Look at you shifting the blame to lil' old me!" Ortega cried.
"Because it's all your fault!" Suji and Sol yelled.
I sighed. I don't know how I should feel about this. Mad because it's all Ortega's fault? Devastated because my soul is linked to a demon's soul? Surprised because demons actually exist?
"It's late. Can we deal with this in the morning?" I asked.
Suji looked at the clock on the wall and frowned. "I guess we should call it a night. But where should Demon Sol go?"
"He should stay with Ortega," I answered.
                              Ortega flinched. "What!? Why me!?"
"You were the one who got us into this mess," I said, narrowing my eyes at him.
"You think that too!? I thought we was homies!" Ortega cried.
Suji walked into the kitchen and returned with a pair of scissors. Then, she cut Sol free. "We have classes tomorrow so can you stay in Ortega's apartment until we get back?"
                              Sol smirked. "No promises."
"I should have some anti-demon talismans around here..." Suji said, looking around the room.
"I won't leave! Even if I do, it's too risky! Why would I want to risk getting caught by Seven so early in the chase game!?" Sol cried, rolling his eyes in annoyance.
                              "True..." Suji responded.
"You should give Ortega some talismans to put on the door or something just in case," I suggested.
                              "Ooh, good plan," Suji said.
                              Sol frowned at me. "Bruh."
Minutes later, Sol and Ortega were at Ortega's apartment next door. Suji and I were cleaning up the mess Ortega had made earlier in the kitchen. There were pots and pains all over the place and the spices were spill all over the counters.
"There goes all of my spices..." Suji said with a sigh as she wiped the counter down.
"What should we do about Sol?" I asked as I washed the dishes from the large pile of dirty dishes Ortega left.
"Well, he's a demon. Obviously we need to kill him," Suji answered.
"But only another demon or a human related to a demon can kill him," I said.
"That's the problem. I don't know any demons, not to mention humans related to one. Not sure how that works though," Suji said.
"I don't either," I answered. I put one plate in the drying rack and took another plate to wash. "So you know how Sol and I are linked together, right? You're dead serious that you don't know how to unlink us?"
"Not even a clue. I would send a text to my grandmother but she never answers," Suji answered.
                              I sighed. "We're stuck."
