Leaving bloody footprints behind me, my body started making its way to the front door against my will.

"Bro, your feet are bleeding!" Ortega yelled.

I ignored him and continued my journey to the front door.

"What's so important that you gotta leave with your feet bleeding? Yo, I can't even sneak the compass back into the store cuz you broke it!" Ortega yelled.

He still didn't get an answer from me.

"What was the last text my grandmother sent me?" Suji carefully asked me.

My fingers wrapped around the doorknob of the front door. "She said she loves you."

"Wrong! My grandmother doesn't answer my texts!" Suji cried.

"Damn...that's kinda sad not gonna lie..." Ortega commented.

I quickly turned around and smiled. "I knew that. I just wanted to see why you were gonna say. Okay, this was nice and all but I really gotta leave!"

"No you're not, you demon," Suji said, glaring at me.

Ortega, the instigator, gasped. "Demon!?"

"I'm warning you. Get out of my friend's body now. I have shaman blood running through my veins," Suji demanded.

Whoa. A demon has taken over my body?

I scoffed. "Sure, like that'll scare me. Just lemme borrow your friend's body very quick. I promise I won't hurt it."

"This is so cool! I'm witnessing a demon possession!" Ortega cried.

"Get out or I'll forcefully take you out of that body!" Suji demanded.

"Bruh, it's very quick!" I cried before turning back to face the door.

"Ortega, get me the bells that are sitting on my dresser," I heard Suji say.

I suddenly felt panic run through my body. I've always noticed Suji's bells but I've never had a reason to fear them. That means the demon that's taken over my body fears them. If he fears them, that means those bells must be a shaman thing.

I guess it's time to push this demon out of my body.

"You've had your fun. Out!" I yelled at myself.

"What!? Make me, bitch!" I yelled back.

I backed away from the door and dug my fingers into my hair.

"Get out of me!"

"Stop resisting!"

"I don't wanna be possessed!"

"Too bad!"

"It was interesting but it's not anymore!"

"It ain't my fault!"

"Out!"

"No!"

"I said out!"

"Hell no!"

My struggle with the demon came to an end when I suddenly fell onto the ground and started coughing up buckets of blood.

"Soleil!" Suji and Ortega yelled, running to me.

It felt as if there was something deep inside of me that was getting ripped out as I cough out the blood. It was absolutely painful, definitely more painful than period cramps and those things be painful as fuck.

What the fuck are you doing to me!? It shouldn't be this painful to push a demon out! A deep voice, most likely the demon, yelled in my head.
