Later that night I start getting ready to go out with Anna and Henry. I put on a pair of dark blue jeans and a white sweater and run a flat iron though my hair. After the afternoon I had, I thought about canceling and just staying home. But I haven't been out with Henry and Anna in so long and I need to talk to Anna about Louis.

While I'm waiting for Anna to pick me up, I sit on my bed and run my fingers over the cover of my red journal. The last time I wrote in it was yesterday but before that it was the day after Christmas. I've never gone that long without writing in this journal since the moment I got it. I'd like to think it's because I was focused on allowing myself to be happy, but in all honesty, I think I just forgot.

I get a text from Anna saying that she's outside so I put on my boots and my coat, grab my phone, and head out the door.

We pull into the parking lot of the ice skating rink. I've never been before, but I know that Henry and Anna have and they said they would help me learn. I just hope I don't look like a complete idiot.

We each pay for our skates and Anna helps me to lace mine up. As they step onto the ice, I'm a bit more hesitant.

"Come on take our hands, we'll help you" Anna says as her and Henry each reach out a hand for me to grab.

I grab their hands and they place me in the middle of them and slowly begin to skate.

"How was the SAT prep class?" I ask Anna making conversation as they pull me along with them.

"Boring" Anna snorts rolling her eyes. "I honestly don't know why my mom put me in the class, she's had me studying for the SAT's since kindergarten"

"Since you were in her stomach" Henry chuckles making Anna glare at him.

"I never even really thought about it" I say. Ice skating is a lot easier than I thought it would be, I'm starting to get the hang of it.

"Thought about what?" Anna asks.

I glance at Anna then shrug my shoulders and look back at the ground concentrating on moving my feet the correct way.

"Having to take the SAT's, my future, college. I don't really know what I want to do with my life it's just something I never had to think about until recently"

"Well you don't have to know the answer to everything now, we aren't even seniors just yet. Everything could change, you never know" Anna replies.

Henry nods his head. "Yeah. Up until last year I wanted to be an astrologist but then I took a three week class learning about airplanes just because I thought it sounded interesting. Now I want to be a pilot"

I look up at Henry. "You'd be a really good pilot, especially with your fantastic coordination skills" I chuckle sarcastically.

He narrows his eyes and shoves me playfully but I lose my balance and my butt makes harsh contact with the ice.

"I genuinely did not mean to push you that hard" Henry winces as Anna dies of laughter.

"Remind me to never get on your plane" I mumble groaning from the impact and possible bruise on my butt.

They both help me up and after a few more laps we decide to stop and get something to eat from the snack bar. Anna and I make it safely off the ice but before Henry can follow suit, a kid going about eighty miles and hour plows into Henry making him fall on his butt a lot harder than I did.

The kid gets up and recovers quickly but Henry remains on the ground. Anna laughs uncontrollably and I join in with her this time.

Henry groans and lifts himself up using the railing. "I deserved that" he says with a small but painful chuckle.
