March quickly approaches marking seven months with the Harringtons. I have every month marked in my calendar. Not really to celebrate but more to help remind myself how far I've come. Each month I like to sit and think for a while about the first day I came here and how much has happened since then.

Amy, John and Noah are out of town for the weekend because they are looking at colleges for Noah. He's applied to many of them already but I guess they wanted to take a look also. They asked me if I wanted to go but I decided not to and to just stay with Mason. Him going away to college never really dawned on me before and we haven't really talked much about it.

I'm sitting on his bed right now while he's in the shower. I've been looking at colleges myself trying to get an idea of where I might want to go. I have good grades but I don't do much in school. I know grades can only get me so far.

I hear the shower turn off and a few seconds later Mason walks out with wet hair and a white towel wrapped loosely around his waist. Droplets of water still remain on his body and slide slowly down his abs making them literally sparkle in the light. I pull my bottom lip in between my teeth and look back down at my laptop.

Masons deep chuckle rings through my ears making me blush. He walks over to me and quickly presses his lips against mine. He wraps his hand softly around my neck pulling me closer. Then he disconnects our lips and looks at my laptop.

"What are you doing?" He questions while picking me up and sitting me on his lap.

I feel him slightly harden underneath me but I try not to let it distract me. "Just looking at some colleges I don't know" I shrug.

He picks up my laptop and looks at the schools that are on the screen. "You're way too smart to be looking at these schools" he states furrowing his eyebrows.

"I know I have good grades but that's it. That's the only thing I have to offer"

"That's not true" he says making me look at him. "You could apply to any Ivy League and get in"

I shake my head. "No, and besides I don't want to go far. I want to stay close"

"Yale and Harvard"

I shake my head again.

"Vanessa don't sell yourself short. Promise me you'll at least apply to one when the time comes" he says looking directly in my eyes.

I sigh but nod my head. "Fine, I promise"

He gives me a kiss and then I close my laptop and sit it on the floor. "What about you? You never told me what colleges you applied to"

"I applied to a few colleges but honestly I think I'm just going to take it online. Not really big on the whole college scene"

I nod my head slightly relieved that I don't have to worry about him leaving me any time soon.

He cups my cheeks and pulls me towards him placing his lips on mine. I breathe in his fresh smell from his shower and the taste of mint on his lips. His tongue navigates perfectly in my mouth and my hands run freely over his now dry chest.

He moves his lips to my neck and wraps his fingers in my hair tugging it lightly to give himself better access. I try to move my body closer to his but I think that's physically impossible.

It sucks because we can't really do anything since it's that time of the month for me and ironically that's when I crave him the most. Stupid hormones.

He comes back up to kiss me and I sigh into his lips. He breaks the kiss and smirks at me.

"I'll give you a nice hard workout tomorrow" he says deepening his smirk.

"Thank you" I breathe out leaning my head against his chest. He chuckles rubbing my back with his warm hands.
