With high ponytail, 1950's inspired vintage style black dress, black stilletos and a shiny black purse from Versace. I have this black cat eye glasses from Chanel to cover my eyes from the sun. I stared at my reflection and I smiled.
I am good to go.
I held my purse tightly before walking out of my hotel room. I am still living under ER Hotel, actually, I am finding a new home. I want to have my condo unit here because I am not going back in Paris any sooner.
I have a lot of appointments today and I think I will be very busy because of it. I have my magazine interviews, I need to visit my newly open cafè, I will visit Bahay ng Kinabukasan, and I will have my meeting with Daddy.
It's almost 6 years when we saw each other. He's still my Dad after all of the things he have done. I am still from him, and if he wasn't here, I will never be here also.
All of the disgusting and terrifying things happened way back when I was a kid and teenager will be forever with me. Honestly, I can't forget those memories. It will be forever in me. It wasn't easy to have those kind of past but I am getting better for my own future. Maybe it was already part of me but I won't let that ruin everything to my future.
I am already experiencing every drop of freedom that I want. From walking free on the streets to working overtime for the company without any hesitation and fear. That's freedom..
The freedom that I craved put me in a lot of escapades in life. It was amazing, everything that happened to me when I was finding freedom was amazing. I met him when I am finding my freedom, he showed me the reality.
As I grew older, I realized that freedom is really in our hands. Freedom is our choice, so we might choose what's the best for us.
“Goodmorning, Ms. Silvestre..” bati sa akin ng secretary ko, I smiled at her.
She's pregnant, 4 months.
“How's your check up, Bianca?” tanong ko bago umupo sa aking upuan.
She touched her small bump before smiling to me.
“Ayos naman po, Miss. Thank you po,” she shyly smiled before heading out of my office.
I scanned all the papers in my table. I read all the reports and signed everything that needs my signature.
My phone rang in the middle of my busy hours. I tapped the loudspeaker and continued reading.
“Hey.” I heard Alisyd's deep voice in the phone.
“Do you need something, Mr. Echavarria?” tanong ko at pinirmahan ang aking binabasa.
“I am your fiancè, not your employee. Cut the formality, baby.” he sounded pissed and bit soft. I chuckled and picked the phone, I placed it on my ear.
Sumandal ako sa swivel chair at napangisi. Inangat ko ang aking kaliwang kamay at lalong napangisi.
“Oh my dear fiancè, hindi ka nga nagpropose sa akin.” I stated and looked at the amazing ring in my ring finger. It actually fits and looks so elegant.
He chuckled.
“Oh, kailangan ko pa ba magtanong? I know you will marry me.” he said that in matter of fact.
Napangiti ako ng malawak.
“You need to ask if I will marry you, you know, malay mo hindi yes ang sagot ko.” I teased and laughed.
I heard his deafening silent reaction on the other line and that made me laugh so much.
“Of course you won't just say Yes, baka yes na yes, oo na oo ang isagot mo sa akin.” he said arrogantly and he laughed like he's winning.
